Thanks guys, looks like pretty good sources to start.

Not a ton of knowledge but I know the basics and I am definitely willing to learn. Everyone starts somewhere. Yeah it would be on a '99 LS1

So I'm looking for something new to learn how to do. Yes, I know this will take a lot of time and patience but I have time now that I am finished with school so I want to pick up on a cool new hobby and this came to mind. I could practice with my own car but I want to know how difficult it truly is for someone who is starting from scratch. What is the learning curve? I was looking at the HP Tuners VCM Suite. Would I just need that and a laptop to get started? Tuning cars is always something that has kind of interested me, but just never got around to learning how to do it. Where do people gain knowledge on how to tune? Have a buddy who knows how help them? Take a class? Watch lots of videos?

It's a blow for OSU losing Fickell and possibly Schiano, but this is Ohio State. You want good assistants? Guess what, they're going to leave for a HC opportunity eventually if they are successful here which is what we want. I trust Urban will continue to make good moves and get solid assistants to fill any gaps. He has done a good job to this point with the exception of Tim "Terrible" Beck.

Exactly. Bad people will find ways to use weapons to hurt other innocent people regardless of what laws are in place. All this is doing is allowing law abiding citizens the right to carry a weapon to protect themselves.

So hypothetically speaking, let's say it gets passed and there is another attack at OSU (I hope not but you never know). The law has passed but the school still has signs banning having weapons on campus. Someone with their CCW that is carrying stops the attacked with deadly force. Would this person be in trouble even though he saved the day? Serious question... This goes for places like movie theaters and what not as well.

The B1G also has the hardest bowl schedule by far so that's not even a fair comparison. I think Iowa will beat Florida though. The SEC gets away with not playing any of the actual power houses in the B1G except possibly Ohio State in the NCG. If your 2nd, 3rd and 4th best teams in the SEC had to play the B1G's 2nd, 3rd and 4th best teams the B1G would clean house.

Texas A&M would beat Wisconsin? :dumb:

Nitto NT555R's are good for 40 rolls as long as it's not super cold out and you're not making ridiculous power. Mickey Thompson also makes a more streetable version similar to their ET Streets you could look into. I can't remember the name though

If Alabama had played a tougher schedule this year then I could see them being considered one of the greatest teams of all-time. If they beat Washington by 4-5 touchdowns then beat OSU/Clemson the same way then I think there is a legitimate argument. I just don't think anything like "Greatest team ever" should be given out before the season is even over. Bama could randomly get upset by Washington then all the sudden they'll be viewed as one of the worst Alabama teams in the past 10 years. Just gotta wait and see how things pan out.

If you aren't worried about how long they'll last and more for performance, I'd just go with Mickey Thompson ET Streets...

A Corvette being displayed at THE Corvette Museum could help it gain even more value I think if you ever planned on selling it. Would be cool to say your car was featured there too, assuming it's only for a year or less so you can get back to driving it.

I think Washington is the most nervous. I know the committee isn't supposed to consider this but with how much money is involved there is no way they don't. If anyone saw the P12 championship game they saw that the stands were only about 70% filled. That's completely unacceptable. College Football is a huge money maker and if Washington can't even fill the stands in their conference championship game they certainly won't for the playoffs that will be further away and way more expensive. This is why teams like Ohio State typically get the benefit of the doubt. Am I sayin college football is corrupt? Not exactly. Is college Football a big business money maker? Yes.

Yeah I read up on it a little more. Looks like they may have been making players play through injuries and shit. If that's the case, he deserved it. A college football players health who is making $0 to play is not worth risking their health.

WTF... what do they expect??? They went 6-6 in the toughest division in College Football and its fucking INDIANA

Fickell is a great defensive coach, but he's eventually going to leave sometime and there a good chance he takes the FAU job after the season I think. Schiano is 100% gone if not this year, next year. I'm just saying if we lost both of those guys and replaced them with a great defensive mind/recruiter in Charlie Strong, I think we wouldn't skip a beat on defense.

A good example of how some likely Liberal nut job professor trying to create "peace" probably does exactly the opposite. Stupid class, stupid project.
