  1. This would be kid number two.. and while were on the subject of cars... a kid offered me a 97 camaro for the civic.. good idea or bad? I figure I could trade it and get a better civic or something that's good on gas.
  2. she does like the swagger wagon.. i mean sienna
  3. price range would be <10k maybe 12 if i can get away from autozone and find a better job.
  4. So.... ummmm.... just found out the wife is pregnant... so we need to get a better bigger family car. Been looking at SUV'S for safety and the 4wd options. Any suggestions? She does like the suzuki xl7 and the mazda 5.. if that helps at all.
  5. found this video, love the sound of the camaro.
  6. thanks. people ask if its the keyblade from a disney game.. fun game and after playing it i can see the resemblance. the top of the key is both a heart and a B, and the top of the lock is a D shape. They match up if we hold hands.
  7. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/111_506573510952_3776_n.jpg first tattoo...yes its real.. done by mark at rising tide in newark, used to be sparky's. Paid around 95-100 with tip. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/353_48105961576_570771576_1348185_8910_n.jpg The key is my second one, the lock is on the wifes arm. also done by mark, paid 80 for both. Britt, the wife, has a bunch done by mark and some by underground tattoo in the heath mall. I can post them if you would like.
  8. Hmmmm.... well personally I really dont like miatas, and the civic has a backseat for the munchkin.. if i were to get a different car it would either be a newer hatch with a dohc or a manual altima.
  9. I would love to go on saturday but i work 8am-4pm. Is there a site with all the dates or is it just every saturday?.. Sticky tires aren't suitable for street, or just some? I downloaded the pdf of the scca rules, and was wondering if using energy suspension bushing kit would bump me out of stock. we can order it at work for 179.99, the shifter is wobbly and the bushings for that are in the kit.
  10. thanks guys, the wife will be happy to know i dont have to spend a bunch of money first. Whats a good brand for the tires? Also where do you get helmets? can you use motorcycle helmets?
  11. Ok. Thanks! First step is to make it quit fogging. Lol
  12. Civic is all stock. All I have planned is some ebay headers when the new motor goes in, and maybe an exhaust come tax time.
  13. So after reading about auto cross and watching videos, I think I want to try with the civic. I subscribed to dsport magazine a few months ago and this month it came with a seperate magazine on suspension setups. I was just wondering what brands people use and how they have them set. Also tires and any other info would be great too. In the magazine it mentioned stiff front and soft rear springs. Seeing as the car will also be a daily as well how would this affect ride quality? It also mentioned bolt-in roll cages?.. I like the idea of this because I could take them out if needed unlike a weld in. Thanks in advance. Also wouldn't be attempting this until late summer/fall or next spring just getting ideas and questions cleared up.
  14. I was expecting a mentos + soda thing.. but this was better
  15. Sweet.. sounds like fun might try late summer or next spring. She gets a new motor in july. Hopefully it doesn't smoke..
  16. whats the bare necessities needed to do this? id like to try this with the civic. if the new motor woks that is..
  17. looks nice..cant decide which i like better though.. brz or frs..
  18. she ended up paying to have it fixed.. mass air flow, and some other part today...
  19. They have a lifetime warranty.. I did however have to get two distributers from autozone in one day. The first one wouldnt even fire. Another person had the same problem the next day.... :/
  20. ALL BY MYSELF I DID!!!! Ok had to get that out.. I made a thread a while ago about the wifes nissan not running right. Well I first replaced the ignition control module, didn't do anything, then did a tune up with platinum ngk plugs, duralast wires, and cap and rotor. Still didnt change anything. so I got a new coil from pick n pull, 25 dollars compared to 90 at work, still nothing. So I replaced the distributor...... IT WORKS!!!!! No sputtering or dying anymore. now to fix the exhaust noise.. muffler came undone.
  21. question... yes another..lol.. do they use autos, bump shifts, or just really good at sifting in a car like that?
