Lmao, who gave me negative rep for posting in this thread? And why?

I have worked at Toyota for 2 years.. The 02 rav4's were junk. We had so many issues with them. To sum it up, when customer would complain of harsh shifting / slippage first step Toyota would make us replace the ECM. Tell customer to drive it to let it relearn (line of shit because they came back in a week with same issues). Next step replace transmission with rebuilt trans. After replacing trans, we still had a couple come back for a 2nd transmission. They had multiple suspension, steering issues. I've replaced a ton of intermediate steering shafts on those. If your looking for that year / body style I would pick Crv over the rav. Now the newer rav4's are very nice. I have still replaced a couple intermediate steering shafts on them, but that's about it.

Damn I forgot COTA was on strike... We were going to take the bus downtown. Maybe we will stick to what we normally do.. Park behind the old IPS in the fields..

Oh you were the one at cars and coffee with the sho.. I love those things.. If I get rid of my SRT for a car It will probably be a sho.. They have came a LONG way..

My shed took flight, with my lawn mower, gas cans, a propane tank, yard tools. Tree in my front yard split in half. When it started I was outside looking at the sky. Wind picked up a lot and I said "shit I need to get the trash cans in so they don't disappear." when I turned around they took off about 10-15' in the air, one landed right on my new flowers. The other in the front yard about 30' from where they started. Storm was nuts. I hate damage like that but I like big storms. I haven't checked roof or siding yet

If you don't think it's leaking why the hell are you putting more refrigerant in?? Is the compressor turning on? If your bypassing our recommendation of getting a proper evac and recharge, check to see if the compressor is kicking on and off.

If your system is Emtpy, there is a reason.. To properly fix the issue you need to put the system on a deep vac, and put the proper level of refridgerant in. Shooting a can of refridgerant in, when the system has air, or over pressuring the system will do more damage than good.. Yes sometimes people get lucky and their AC "Works" But do it the proper way so you dont do more damage than good.

High side, and low side have 2 different size ports.. Can gauges are junk.. Have a professional evac and recharge your system.

I guess it all depends on how long you want to keep it.. If your selling it soon, pop a used trans in there an call it a day.. If your keeping it for another 100k miles.. Rebuild it.. I personally would just swap another transmission in it..
