  1. It's the kitchen, and no flaming or pissed off people yet. CR is letting me down.
  2. Bilstein shocks are well worth the money
  3. For the record, a 1k$ car doesnt have a bad frame. This thing was barely worth scrap price at 250$. Like I said, live and learn. I just trusted to much coming from a member on here. It was a 3rd vehicle for him that sat for months, he didn't park it because of a $120 wheel bearing, he didn't drive it because he more than likely knew about the frame. That's why he "spent the money the next day on a family car". Otherwise he would have thrown a wheel bearing in it and drove it.. But it's over now, car is scrapped and I'm out money. Any true man that had no idea would offer some way to make it right. Thread can be closed whenever.
  4. I sent to clay, I dont have an uploader account anymore so idk how to post them. Photobucket apparently doesnt work
  5. Exactly what I did. Life goes on, hope others dont get screwed over.
  6. For all those that care, this shit pile was sold for parts. Will, go fuck yourself.
  7. Buyers remorse? A perfect car? Haha Just glad other people know to not trust you now. Also glad you didnt sell this to a family of 4 that will load kids in the back. Weird how you had no clue about the frame rot, however didnt drive it for a reason. And was in desperate need of a new "spare vehicle". As I said, shows your morals and integrity knowing you screwed someone over and didnt offer anything to make it right. Karma will find you.
  8. Hindsight is 20/20.. What seems like something easy to spot is not considering the frame rot was on the inside of the frame. At most this thing fixed up without a bad frame would bring 2500$. I expected with the issues stated (plus the engine light issues I found that were not stated) would make it a 1k$ car in it's current state. He could have offered anything to help with the situation other than "hope you can do something with it".
  9. Moral of the story you sold a vehicle with a bad frame whether you knew it or not, you know now and wouldn't even attempt to make it right. If I sold a vehicle and found out how unsafe it was I would gladly refund or even worse case offer a partial refund. Hopefully the title will arrive today and I will sell it for parts which I'm losing money on. Just shows what kind of person you are and your integrity / morals you hold as a "man".
  10. I agree on all. I would have no problem refunding money. Now I have to sell it for parts and lose money.
  11. Apparently in his father in laws name. He had to have him sign it, get it notarized and is mailing it to me.
  12. I didnt want to do this, but others should be aware of the type of person Will is. I went to his house to look at his 2004 Envoy. No where in his post did he say the engine light was on, except when I showed up he stated it was for an 02 sensor. I scanned it and found transmission codes and coolant temp codes. I looked all around the outside / inside under as much as I could, but I assumed since he was a CR member and mutual friends that he didnt have much to hide. He claimed the fluid leak was from the recent power steering line replacement was not cleaned up when it was done. But that wasnt the case. (Was not overly worried about that) I decided to buy it going by what he said and what I found. I get it home and on the lift to find out that the frame is swiss cheese. I wouldnt have been able to see this while parked on a driveway. With all of the recent work hes paid to have done surely someone has told him how bad the frame was, MAYBE not who knows. I sent him a text with photos asking if he would be willing to refund my money, I will tow it anywhere he wants it. Unfortunately he told me they "Already spent the money" and "The title is on it's way, hopefully you can do something with it". If I honestly had no idea how unsafe it was I would gladly refund the money and apologize. But Will refused to refund and showed his true character. Buying from a CR member shouldn't go this way, I have met many members here and feel that the majority of you would also man up and refund the money. Sure you can always say "as is when buying used". But without towing it home, throwing it on my lift I would have never seen the frame. There should be a trust associated with fellow CR members. I expect this type of situation off craigslist, not CR.
  13. Superior counter tops in Lancaster. They used stonemart in Hilliard for stone options.
  14. Something I have been working on for awhile... Started with a leak in the ceiling, escaladed very quickly... Ended up ripping the entire ceiling out, running all new pex line to everything upstairs. LED can lights in the ceiling, new drywall, all new cabinets. Moved the fridge into the pantry, moved the pantry to the coat closet. Slid the stove and microwave down, put in an island and got rid of the peninsula counter top. Pulled up the old linoleum floor and installed wood plank tile. Installed a Giant apron front farm sink. Still a lot of work to do but here is a little update.
  15. Same.. I feel like Oscar did all of the work. I think it turned out cool still
  16. 80 is cheap. I think 100/hr is common.

    Exhaust sounds killer
  18. Go 14' sidewall for a lift. 12ft would be tight depending on what lift.. If you want to come check out my shop built by grabers I'm just in Amanda / Lancaster area
  19. I have a pole barn with metal siding. I studded and insulated the walls. Perfectly fine in the winter. Why not go that route
  20. Sounds like you need a basic 30gal craftsman. I used that for many years. In my home shop I upgraded to a big Quincy and couldn't be happier, it's a beast and made in the usa with parts readily available. Unlike most store bought compressors now are made in China and parts are hard to get.
  21. National auto tool in Columbus. They will give you a cash and carry price. I have a 2 post from them and it's been great.
  22. If interested in having it fixed let me know. Looks like a clutch kit is 240$ and a flywheel is 150. I can help you on labor but if you're not wanting to spend money on it I understand.
  23. Both that I am seeing calls for 7.5 hours due to sub frame drop. I could probably save you a little money but it's not a cheap job.
