  1. No, it's one of those fake simulators that claim horsepower but just take your money.
  2. Yeah I saw the posting is down now. I text him from my wife's phone and he said it sold. Maybe it was just a weird way of selling. Idk. It was stupid clean for the price. Pissed I couldn't drive away with it.
  3. I do work on the side. Have done work for some CR members. I could look up labor and PM you a price.
  4. I contacted 6 on your side, and gave them all the info.. So hopefully they research him and catch him before he takes someones money
  5. Ad http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/3435211006.html Price was 2200, I told him 2000.
  6. Well I have chaulked it up as a SCAM.. Anyone want to mess with his phone number it is... {6I4} 432 -7355..
  7. It may be a cluster but well worth it if its legit... I dont know. Sucks I wasted my time checking it out
  8. Tis the season for break-in's, robbery's, and scams... Ok, so I found this car on craigslist that I want to buy. I called the number and it went strait to voicemail. It said "If your calling about the ad, leave a detailed message". SCAM? I called him back again and it rang / he answered. I talked to him about the car. He told me that it belongs to his neighbor, who is older. The car is a one owner and he told his neighbor to sell it for him. We set up a time and place to meet. I show up, and the car is very clean. There is a rip in the leather seat, needs brakes bad (pulsation). I said ok, I'll take it. What do we need to do now? He said his neighbor works until 5pm tonight and cant meet up until then. But since he has had 15 phone calls about it, if I left him a DEPOSIT, he would hold it for me. I said no way am I leaving a deposit, but I have cash if you can get the title right now. So he texted the "owner" and didnt get reply. So he said he would call me when he hears back from the owner. Then we can meet up tonight to sign title over. I dont know if its a scam or not.. It seems really fishy, but if its just a messed up way of selling a car it could be a great deal. I took a picture of his license plate, and I have his cell phone number. Waiting to hear back from him tonight.. (Dont think he will call)
  9. Selling a brand new in box set of headlamps. Explorer- mountaineer style. Not sure what years they will fit, was for a 99 180$ on Craigslist, 150$ for cr members http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/2216A9EE-076D-4EB1-BB77-12691DACFB9F-2868-000003FAE1DE8C4A.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/04332815-7DC5-4962-94EC-B1368F9B204D-2868-000003FADCC451B9.jpg http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr133/probin007/672B8AE3-38A5-495F-B309-77C7DA74B305-2868-000003FAD45665A4.jpg

  11. I paid 400$ for 4 dodge ram 20" wheels to be powder coated from performance.
  12. Mine were about the same. When I shopped around. Performance did a awesome job, and I send a lot of people there. But when he said he wanted it done fast. That's not them.
  13. He said "right away" my wheels took 3 weeks to get back. And I have heard that's his normal turn around time. I would suggest wheel medic. They seem to be quicker.
  14. For those saying ecoboost f150, why? Have you drivin one? I have and was not impressed at all. Turbo lag, and I even got limp mode merging on the freeway.. Salesman said that's never happened. I researched it online and it's a common issue. Mpg's are not near as good as advertised. Not to mention the pages of transmission issues. I'm not a fan, nor have I ever been a fan of f150's. The ram with leather interior has the upgraded leather dash, center console, etc. I'm still leaned toward a tundra. I've worked on them enough to know maintenance is cheap, rarely break down, and have some balls when getting on the freeway. I have also been in a tundra while towing a flat bed trailer with an avalanche on it. Didn't sway or rob power to get it going. I don't want a diesel, and this truck won't be modified to be fast.
  15. I had a 04 hemi ram.. It was ok.. Friend of mine has a 09 and it's nice, but the back seat is not very big. Not a fan of the mega cab. Maybe the SRT will be for sale soon, who knows
  16. I was a toyota tech, so I do know a lot about them. And know maintenance on them is EASY.. Timing belts, fluids... Im at the airport working on big trucks now..

  18. Chevy has the lowest towing capacity and hp/tq than the other 2 options... And it would stay mostly stock.. :gabe:
  19. Thanks, but I have a feeling I know what everyone will choose :gabe:
  20. I dont see that on A,B, Or C I worked at toyota for almost 2 years, and I love the crewmax tundras.. Any V8 is going to suck the gas down, I'm not too worried about that or I would get a prius.. I dont think I've ever had a good MPG vehicle LOL.. Tundra's are also pretty quick for what they are, but the crewmax back seat is huge compared to competitors FRONT LEG ROOM 42.5 in. REAR LEG ROOM 44.5 in. 381hp/401tq 6 speed auto With a towing rate at over 10,000 with the right hitch. Chevy 1500 315hp 4spd auto with o/d Towing capacity of 7500 lbs with the 5.3L, over 10,000 with the 6.0 The Ram 390hp/ 407tq 9100 lb towing capacity
