Apparently I'm the 1% that thinks the officer should not have been going that fast. Almost all emergency vehicles I see and yield to, slow down at all intersections. Just about everyone I've talked to in person other than officers I know. Say it's the guys own fault for pulling out in front of him.

Sounds like you have more than one issue. Solenoid stuck and Evap hose/ line leaking. Sometimes they won't throw a Evap leak code. It will just say tighten gas cap.

I'm sure there Are YouTube videos on how to discharge it illegally. But you should do it the right way and have it sucked out. A little late for that though.

Yes you have to remove the whole hvac housing. Discharge the AC, unbolt the lines going into the firewall. Remove heater core hoses. Remove all the hidden bolts that hold the hvac housing to the firewall. Remove all 80 screws and separate the housing. Being careful of the doors..
