  1. Ok this made me laugh! lol... There were a couple subtle references to the book including the guy he talks to in Israel (not spoiling anything here) was a character in the book who talked about being in intelligence and 10 analysts and one of the 10 always having to disagree. The report was the same name too. That was the most obvious one I caught. But as others have pointed out it has nothing to do with the book. All in all I'd agree with others... weak 3 stars but worth a watch. For a zombie movie it's not bad at all. Pavo
  2. I liked it and I did read the book before. As many real critics have said don't go expecting it to be anything like the book (book was fantastic). There are subtle references to the book in the movie though if you pay attention. Go in just looking for an entertaining but not plot filled 2 hours and you'll be happy. The movie itself is a good summer popcorn movie. Like those above said, quick pace and hurried ending. You can definitely tell there was a reshoot to the ending. The pace goes from lightening quick to a whole different pace (although admittedly not a bad thing in this case). Several great set pieces in the movie and visually was great. Very little gore even for a PG-13 movie. There is more blood in Walking Dead than this movie. Several good jump scares but overall not the least bit creepy or scary to me. I had a family sitting next to me with several kids under 6 and none of them jumped once. It could've been the amazing seating though. lol I saw it at the Dublin theater on Sawmill and it was in one of the newly remodeled theaters. The seats in those things are dreamy. SOOOO comfy! Definitely not a bad movie. I'd give it a B. I'd love to see the ending they scrapped though. Some huge battle in Russia supposedly. I'm sure it'll be on the blu-ray. P.S.... Did anyone else think raptors from Jurrassic Park when they showed Zed close ups? Between the noise they made and their weird biting motion I admittedly laughed out loud a couple times. But good nonetheless. Pavo
  3. Darn I'd be a ringer on that team. lol My average was 170ish at Wayne Webb's a year ago on his tough shot. His lanes are not condusive to those of us that hook like crazy. Pavo
  4. If I was done with school I'd be in but my schedule is so sporadic. I graduate in August but too late to help here. How good of a league is it? Like what are the averages of your bowlers on your team? Pavo
  5. I had a car shipped from Florida a few years ago and as others have stated, I just had to have the VIN inspected (local dealer did it for like $10). Once I had that, I was able to get a title transfer done. Pavo
  6. Amazing! I so wish I had access to a boat. One day maybe I'll have one of my own. Although I'm 33 so "one day" is quickly disappearing. lol Pavo
  7. Anyone get to go out this weekend? Pavo
  8. Congrats Dan! I'm proud of you my friend! Pavo
  9. Nice! I wish I had my own pond! How big is your pond? Pavo
  10. I go to Summerhill Family Medicine by the Dublin Hospital and have for years. They are great there. Dr. Wendy Summerhill is fantastic and they are all super nice in that office.
  11. That's exactly what I did in HS and in College before I messed my knee up. I'd be your guy if it wasn't for the surgery 10 days ago. What is your season dates usually? Pavo
  12. I do quite a bit but do not have a boat. I am stuck on the bank unfortunately and am primarily a bass fisherman. There are some good bass spots in Dublin that most don't know about or are not fished much. I don't know anywhere with smallmouth bass heavy because of my lack of a boat. Pavo
  13. Wow I wish I was in shape for this. I was never an outfielder or a pitcher but I could hit in my day. I had a partial Urbana scholarship in 1998 for baseball until I messed my knee up. I've always been a "big" (i.e. fat) guy, even then, but could hit well. I just had both my meniscuses repaired and ACL slightly repaired a week ago (not torn but was about to) and am extra fat at the moment. lol What kind of skill/age range is the league out curiosity? Thanks, Pavo
  14. I'm probably too late but could use one of those couches... I'm moving next weekend and have 0 furniture Pavo
  15. Also, if someone could post this over on EvolutionM.net forums I would appreciate it. For some reason I don't have access to do so anymore. Thanks, Pavo

  17. Well I no longer have the Evo so I don't need this cable any more. I have the following EvoScan Cable EvoScan 1.3R USB Datalogging and Reflashing Cable with Evo7/8/9 AYC/ACD Support (no pin9) $75 OBO Thanks, Pavo
  18. Amen to this one... I'm 33 and remember them but I remember how disappointed they were to me because they were not like Star Wars. lol Pavo
  19. Is that easy/cheap to fix or difficult/expensive? Thanks, Pavo
  20. All, I am in the process of down sizing due moving in with my soon to be wife. We will not have room in our new apartment for all my AV stuff so time to get rid of the spare bedroom stuff. Acurus A150 Amp - Second owner, unit in good condition. Works perfectly with no issues. $250 local pickup or $275 shipped/paypal OBO MFW-15 Moho Natural Diamond - Presently needs amp hooked back up. I had it out to have it checked (it checked out ok). I'd rate it 7 out of 10 due to age. It does hum without cheater plug but fine with it. Looks great though. Cannot ship this... $450 put back together or $375 as is (local pick-up only) Mitsubishi WD-60738 3D DLP - $300 OBO local pick-up only... This TV worked great and flawlessly for about a year and half until about 3 weeks ago. The bulb blew unexpectedly on me and when I went to replace it with a Mitsubishi bulb it started acting weird. The TV will turn on fine and start to warm up but once the bulb fully warms up the picture starts to flicker and the tv shuts itself off. It also makes a strange noise like a fan going out when the picture starts to flicker. I believe this is an easy fix but I don't want to deal with it. I will include the 3D emitter (no glasses) with this. I believe the fan that cools the bulb needs replaced but I cannot honestly say for sure. Sold as is but I will be glad to demonstrate what is going on. I will also include the brand new replacement bulb. All prices are OBO and I can only ship the amp... PM me with questions. Location is 43235. Thanks, Pavo
  21. My dad has wanted a model 37 Ultra-featherlite 20 guage with the deer on it for years. Incredibly hard gun to find. My uncle has one and won't sell it to me for anything. The older Ithaca's are great guns for sure... Pavo
  22. Another item of note to what Ryan posted... The car sat out in the rain overnight and several bouts of sprinkles since his work was completed. I have not re-washed the car and honestly it looks like it just rolled out of his garage from being done. The water just falls right off and the car still looks very glossy. And no he's not paying me to say all that. lol I am just that happy with the job. Pavo
  23. On another note I wanted to say how great Ryan's customer service was and how nice a guy he was. He definitely knows his stuff and the work was well worth every penny. I don't have pics off hand thanks to the sprinkling rain but I cannot express how happy I am with the work. Don't hesitate to call him up if you are looking for some good detailing. Pavo
