Good point...maybe I'll send you my numbers just to check. I did a 2 year/30k mile lease. I'm at 23k now and bought another car so it's just sitting in the driveway.

My car is 18 months old and 7k under mileage on the lease and there's a 7k difference in value. Appraised at 15k and "buyout" is 22k.

I've got this coming up in June and am nervous as shit- good luck. I've always thought it'd be funny to send them a bill for the "under mileage" of the car haha. Like hey, I paid for 30k miles and only put 23k on it- here's your bill for the positive value of the car.

Got it. Actually, got a different one. 2014, AWD, 2.0T premium package with 12,500 miles. I am keeping my fusion until the lease is done. I'll have double payments for 6 months/$1900 hit. Don't care, I wanted this car and got a deal I couldn't pass up.

Carl, the ATS wouldn't be a lease. It'd be a purchase. I'm going to look at it today at 8:45. The numbers have to work or I'm sticking with my lease. It is the car I want. It's exactly what I've been looking for about 3k cheaper than I've found. I love that they're boosted, AWD, luxurious, decent on gas (same exact numbers as my fusion). The insurance is the exact same price as my fusion, but I can sell my colt and save $25 a month in insurance on that. Jive, Fuck off lol. That was good man.

The only downside to this is you leave the suspension hanging for months. It's a trade off

I'm currently tracking way over on my mileage and need to dump it before I get hit with a giant mileage penalty anyway. Most of them are auto. I also drive bumper to bumper traffic in and out of work, which is why I dumped the S4. Sucked balls to drive.

Because for a significant amount less, I can have this and bring it to the power of an ATS-V. So the payment is going to be $25 more a month than I pay now, and I have to pay off the remainder of my lease ($2,225).

2.0T? They're definitely not exciting in their stock form, but for under 3k you can bring it from 270 to close to 400hp. My plan is to take 5k and do wheels/tires/coils/tune/exhaust/intake and just make it 325-350 as a nice DD.

One of the first things I'll do is wheels/tires/drop, so that should address that. Thanks Derek!

Currently I have a 2015 Ford Fusion Titanium (Ecoboost) and I really do love the car. Decent gas mileage, decent speed, etc. The only "issue" is that it's a lease, and I have 7 payments left. However, I've got this weird Cadillac ATS bug that I can't seem to shake. I found a nice ass 2014 ATS, AWD 2.0T, black on black, for a great price. I desperately want to consolidate down to two vehicles (I currently have 3) and this will allow me to do so, because I'll own it and I can mod it. I have no desire to mod my Fusion. So, talk me OUT of buying the ATS (or not, if you think it's a smart move). If I can have minimal out of pocket costs and keep my payment within $25 of each other, I think I'm going to do it. Anything I should know prior to?

Exactly...it was easy as shit for him to install, looks clean and is easy to use. It's a win-win.

I own 10 houses, 9 in Columbus and 1 in Hilliard. I am voting yes on all levy's. People don't realize the impact a "No" creates. Not just new schools not getting built, but people losing their jobs, property values tanking, etc. If you want cheap taxes, move somewhere else. Living in the "city" has it's costs. This is one of them. If it passes (and it eventually will), I'll have to fork over another 2-3k a year in property taxes. Long hair, don't care. It's worth it.
