  1. The K car platform is way quicker due to aero and weight. I just didn't anticipate the mini-van to get 11's with basically a run of the mill build without AWD and without 16 valves.
  2. Not that it means much but a FWD mini-van just reset the record for a quarter mile mopar. Baffling in that it doesn't have a DOHC head on it. Build thread: http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/showthread.php?71067-Creating-the-Silver-Bullet-shoebox
  3. doesn't the walmart pools have a small pump?
  4. Great pics. Anymore info on who's car this is by chance:
  5. Great article. I don't think it said in the article, but what rims are those if you know by chance?
  6. We bought the house in December. Were slowly cleaning up the yard after little maintenance was done on a regular basis. One of these days I will have to swing by or vice versa.
  7. Congrats and small world. I'm pretty sure I was working in my back yard pulling up a brick side walk when you 1st started it. Were the ones diagonal your back yard that pulled their above ground pool. I heard a lady yelling in happyness so I figured it was a big deal and went back to sweating through every shirt that I own.
  8. So after a few beers I began stumbling around the old interweb on stepped turbo headers. Low and behold, google returned threads of your knowledge/results on honda-tech of previous work about the topic. Pretty impressive. Any consideration of moving the turbo towards the front of the car and going for a triple stepped?
  9. what about a 3" cut off wheel or a plasma cutter? I threw my harbor freight jig saw in the trash.
  10. right. The semi-truck was baffling. Wagner is right, partying with these folks would leave a mark.
  11. another thing about the r154's is most that are out there are high mileage pos and are getting harder to come by. One option out there is the solstice trans, but I haven't been around the supra forums lately to see if there has been any serious hp thrown at them. I may have to look CD009 down the road next summer if the adapter plate/clutch setup isn't too pricey.
  12. anymore info about your awd mirage build by chance?
  13. hmmm. I wonder if there are adds out to hire protesters already for cleveland.
  14. thank you sir. Last year the NHRA race was pretty over the top. I'm thinking this time around, sit at the ends all the way at the end of the quarter mile mark to get more of a view of the speed.
  15. If you had to pick a few races this summer to catch in Ohio, what would you recommend?
  16. just curious... why a table unit considering what you have? Can the table units handle metal all that well with what you are looking at?
  17. Good for you. Your making great progress
  18. Random question. What is every ones thoughts on the older Audi 80's?
  19. I come from an air coooled vw back ground and as you know they may not mix all that well with water cooled vw's. With that being said, I can say I am impressed with your build. You didn't go too crazy with camber and its well put together. The lingering question.... Any plan for a turbo?
  20. looks like shawn is down to a 4.40. Any update on what Big Chief is running? Nothing so far on yellowbullet or turbobullet.
  21. I will have to add in a 90-92 ls400. For 3-4k you can find them that have 100-130k miles and they are well known to last till 300k if taken care of properly.
  22. 2rz + R154 or AR5 solstice trans. Strong motor and a decent trans that wont break the bank and doesnt need any bellhousing adapters to make it work.
  23. Pretty much a big giant slush fest driving to work.
