  1. decided to join and post over there just for giggles: so D Wiggs has wondered onto another forum and shockingly made an ass of himself again. The "famous" D Wiggs has pulled the same arrogant garbage on Columbus Racing. The funny part is he made the mistake of bashing Underground Racing during one of his daily incoherent I am greater than the world rants. The owner of UR got word of his remarks, decided to join, and questioned Wiggs about his remarks along with Jamie. Instead of explaining his comments that UR's transmissions are filled with spacers and are garbage, he tucked his tail between his legs, didn't answer, and hasn't logged on since. I'm happy for the guy that he inherited money from his dad, good for him and has a good life due to it. Unfortunately he has spent the last year making empty promises while running his mouth about several well established vendors when he can't even get a car running. The only thing I would ever trust him with to build are LEGO's. At the end he would hire/outsource the job so someone else can do it for him and still come back 6 months letters with a torn box, missing legos, and one lego oddly stuck on his forehead.
  2. no, but any food, unemployment, welfare assistance should stop after 6 months regardless of the situation. People have to be motivated to work.
  3. what a shocker, an eclipse owner doing that shit. Kudos to the guy, he does have some skilll
  4. lol. I can't imagine the good times had out there mixing coke, E, and tities.
  5. cool cars. I wonder how many ken block's were at the show
  6. that the city violates civil liberties and sticks their noses into things they do not belong.
  7. the big thing with NY is that the police have the ability to stop and search without being under investigation for committing a crime. Good luck being black walking around down there.
  8. he will probably use it as an excuse to take away more of our rights.
  9. thanks for the kind words. In all honesty, so far I have shown that I can take things apart and cut things up. The next week will for me, be a deciding factor as to how things turn out.
  10. I have to make a 1x1x11.5 rectangle for the outside and same shape for the bottom . I am leaning towards injection molding due to any shape is possible for base to hold various things/electrical components, but vacuum forming like hot tubs looks a lot simpler to the top part.
  11. thanks for the replies folks. I will hit them up over the next few days.
  12. there is some pretty cool shit being made by vacuum forming. Here a motorcycle helmet:
  13. I still have enough DOM tubing left over and the end links are not that much. I also got the measurements body using wood, jack stands, angle finder, and various suspension heights to see what works. http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc510/chrisj011/mx32018.jpg There hasn't been any updates because my 3 year old decided to hijack the camera and take 200-300 pictures in 2 days http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc510/chrisj011/mx32016.jpg I have the driver side 90% cut off except for the arch behind the back seat. I decided to do the rear end sheet metal work mainly that I can get better at welding and dealing with sheet metal so I don't create another cluster fuck http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc510/chrisj011/mx32019.jpg I used sheets of paper from my daughters drawing book so that I can find the wheel arch on the fender and the base inside the trunk. I will then transfer the pattern to card board for fitment and go from there. http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc510/chrisj011/mx32017.jpg

    RC car parts

Can you folks recommend a RC parts store in columbus? I have a side project that requires remote controlled servos and I figured RC cars would be a good parts source
  15. Dave and his staff will make sure you are taken care of for anything that you don't have to go to a dealership for
  16. oh yea baby http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc510/chrisj011/imagesqtbnANd9GcQKHq7cJdYWSypa-NMkKimPMOE3I8lm5UloXJraOZ17d1sVfD9n.jpg
  17. Since I figured there are a few engineers here, it's worth a shot. Can anyone recommend books/websites for diy construction of either thermoplastic or ABS plastic parts? thanks.

  19. What western civilization does not understand is that shithole Islam countries only behave when threatened with violence or their family disappearing. We are shocked at the behavior at the embassies but forget they do not have the capacity to have basic objective logical thinking skills. Btw, Wagner for president
  20. Obama won't do shit. He's too busy trying to get votes from gays and illegals.
  21. 9/11, I was in college. A guy in our dorm unit lost several of his close family members due to his family owned a British bank that had atleast one floor in one of the towers. My dad was suppose to at the Pentagon for a meeting on the side that was hit by the plane and his meeting got cancelled. Funny how things work out.
  22. one thing to consider is that you need to get your body use to a higher heart rate. I would guess mix in interval training to where you go balls to the wall for 3 minutes straight so you almost puke, don't stop, and go at a normal pace for 3 minutes. Alternate for 30 minutes and that should get your body to lower the hate rate for regular speed. Keep in mind, it's just an idea. For my cardio(I'm not training for bicycling), I alternate 4 days: day 1: endurance day 2: interval speed training mentioned above day 3: change of direction day 4: running hills/stairs/plyo
