  1. I had a noise with mine when i got it. It was a squeaking noise coming from the trans at idle but only when it got warm, and went away if i kept my foot on the clutch pedal VERY slightly, like 1/8th depressed. Replaced the TOB...wasn't that. Finally got a new trans and when I pulled my old one out i was messing with it and it was the clutch fork rubbing metal on metal with the pivot stud. Probably isn't the same thing as your problem, but you never know. When your car is warm, press the clutch in all the way and see if it goes away. If it does, it's more than likely your TOB.

  3. I work for Metro Lexus up here in Cleveland. They're pretty cool cars and get 43mpg city. Not too shabby. Start off at like $30k...
  4. You have to renew them every year like regular plates, just you don't have to get an E-check ever again. The car doesn't HAVE to be a limited production car, like I said with my friend's Civic. He has a lot of money in it and has collectors for it. I asked these questions on clevelandracing also, and they said you need $3500 in receipts for work done by yourself, or $5000 in receipts if done by a shop.
  5. Well I have receipts up to $10k. And $5k is all you need. Friend with a Civic just got them last year and he had a little over 5 in receipts. Yup. Or could be a limited production car of some sort. Just need a way to prove it I.E receipts and pictures. I'm suprised there's not more answers from anyone since you guys are in Columbus
  6. Because I have over $5000 in mods. And im not swapping midpipes to pass echeck.
  7. Going to be applying to get them for my car. Am I still able to get them even though the car is still being paid for? I have receipts for over $6k in mods, so that should be enough, right? If not I can get more. Also, do I NEED to send pictures in? Friends are telling me it's a good idea to. I take it it's just less of a hassle to get the plates if you send pics in with the receipts? Also asks for the deputy registrar name and number, with certification of title inspected by whoever. Not sure what I put there? Any help will be appreciated guys.
  8. For sure man! This thing should be able to handle anything I can really throw at it
  9. And the factory shit couldn't even handle 411rwhp! Weaksauce.
  10. No worries man, I accept all opinions! The 03/04 Cobras make a lot more cause of them being 4v's and whatnot. The shortblock is rated for 900rwhp...it basically the same as an 03/04 Cobra shortblock. I'll only be able to make that much power because of the small blower, or course if I got turbo, I could be at least 600+...but then I'd also need to beef up the trans, rear end, suspension, fuel, etc. etc. Just going to have as much fun with it as I can while it has a small blower on it
  11. It's a 2v 4.6, need I say more? 500rwhp should suffice for a little bit.
  12. Comp cams valvesprings and retainers arrived today!
  13. Good shit man! Thanks for the info! How long did it take for the chatter to go away (if there was any)? It says the break in period is 500 miles, but I put a Stage 1 in my 98 GT and took forever to lose the chatter.
  14. Exactly. The internals are pathetic. But I solved that issue now
  15. Nope, tune was conservative. No detonation, never went lean. A/F was between 11.2 and 11.6. It was dynoed hot that way. It never had a cool down time, so we guess an hour of cool down time would have net about 425-430rwhp, which is stock internal limits. The power was safe, but the boost was not (13lbs) for the stock internals.
  16. Sounds good! Let me know how it all goes!
  17. Well since I can't view my intro thread anymore, I'll start up a rebuild thread of my car. I'm currently in a rebuilding process with my car. Long story short, it was a Vortech V1 S-trim boosted and FMIC'd stock engine, with TB, plenum, exhaust, etc. Made 13lbs at redline, 411rwhp and 396rwtq with no cool down time on Big 3 Racing's Mustang dyno...and lasted 1 day LOL. Here's what will be going on the car in the next few weeks, and hopefully running by the beginning of April: MMR900 Shortblock with ARP mainstuds, ARP 2000 rodbolts, ARP headstuds, and MMR sideblock bolts. Spec 8 bolt billet flywheel with ARP bolts Spec Stage 2+ clutch kit Twin 03-04 Cobra fuel pumps with 40A BAP FRPP HV Oil pump MAC LT Headers with matching shorty O/R X pipe, leading to Magnapacks Stock heads for now with Comp beehive valvesprings and retainers for future CMS Stage 2.5 blower cams and then of course the V1 blower will be going back on with it all with the same pulley setup (2.87"), 42# injectors, PMAS blow-through MAF, Vortech mini-race BPV, AFM Powerpipe and the 3" intercooler piping. Going for 450-500rwhp ish before cams, and 520-540rwhp with cams. Carnage! http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/eastonhockeyplayer08/carnage5.jpg I guess I was past due on an oil change http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/eastonhockeyplayer08/carnage.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/eastonhockeyplayer08/carnage2.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/eastonhockeyplayer08/carnage3.jpg A little PTV there... http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/eastonhockeyplayer08/carnage4.jpg The piston skirts were completely ripped off to give you a better idea of that happened to them. Also snapped one rod, and severely bent the other one to an "S" shape somehow Few pics of my new parts MMR900 shortblock http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/eastonhockeyplayer08/shortblock2.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/eastonhockeyplayer08/shortblockside.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/eastonhockeyplayer08/shortblockunder.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/eastonhockeyplayer08/headers.jpg MAC Ceramic coated LT headers http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/eastonhockeyplayer08/fuelpumps.jpg Dual 03/04 Cobra pumps with PPRV delete http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f198/eastonhockeyplayer08/clutchflywheel.jpg I'll update accordingly with pictures along the way of the build! Let me know what you guys think! Mods: Sorry for posting virtually the same two threads (my intro thread and this). But since I can't view my intro thread and see what people have to say, I decided to make this one.
  18. Clean looking, excellent choice of exhaust! I have the same (except it's a UPR o/r X). Vortech is the way to go GLWS. Off topic, but how is the spec 2+ clutch? Just bought one for my rebuild.
  19. Those look great. I was always trying to find a set of these for my old 98 GT, but never could.
  20. Congrats! Heard about/seen videos about this car. Thing is SICK.
  21. Thanks! Thank you, sir! Thank you! I wasn't sure of the color at first, but for the price I got it for I didn't really care! It has grew on me since anyway!
  22. Thanks guys! Can't wait to get her running and take a ride down to Cbus sometime soon!
