  1. New Daily - 2003 E39 525i Sport (pics inside)

    Picked up a new daily a few weeks ago, and hope to fully transform the M3 into more of an autocross/track car.

     

    Details on the car:

     

    2003 525i Sport

    102k on the clock

    Entire cooling system was just overhauled

    Tint is 50% front 35% rear

    18" Beyern Mesh Wheels

    Rear Lip spoiler

    Black on Black leather with sport seats

    Angel eyes with Xenon lamps and fogs

     

    Pretty much stock as it sits and it will mainly stay that way, since all extra $$ will go to the M :D

  4. Winter wheels to fit a BMW E39 (17")

    Must be 17" and only looking for wheels. I already have Blizzaks to mount on these. Not looking to spend very much.

     

    Need to have a 74.1mm hub centric center bore on the wheels, and offsets should between 13mm-25mm to fit the E39.

     

    I prefer 20mm offset all around.

    and please make bmwohio doesn't use my gopro to take stupid angle video where you can't see the track :D

     

    blah blah blah.....I didn't have my extension for my camera last year, so that was the best angle I could get......this time around will be much better

    Thanks for the nice words, folks. Unfortunately the car is totaled - not worth rebuilding, primarily because the expensive end of the car took all of the damage (fresh motor and tranny). Hats of to Peter, Kevin and Trevor Dawe who, over the past 4 years, developed an amazing car. It held 5 or so class lap records and was in striking distance of several more. Truly a blast to drive and a real drivers car.

     

    As for me, physically I'm fine but mentally a bit on the ragged side. Not sure what I will do next, but it will involve racing, for sure.

    Yeah, I hope I didn't confuse you too much trying to give you pointers on your set-up, It looks like you got your grip under control though in the afternoon......was that more throttle modulation or from adjusting pressures and rebound?
