  1. those are junk. better to get something nice but used, and tune it up.

    Agreed

    +2

i rode my bike with pedals/cages for 2 seasons, and just got cleats/clipless pedals a couple weeks ago...ridden like 3-4x with them and im hooked.

+3, actually CL is a great place to find a used bike. Problem is, you need to know what your looking for and what is crap. If you find one, just post it on here, and I'm sure many will chime in if it is a good buy or not.....

  2. 3rd, 45. GOOD EAR!!

Has solid rear swap with 373's

If you watch the others he made, there is one that says 60roll but the camera guy says 35 roll. That was 2nd gear. We did 4 pulls 2@45, 1@35, 1@60. 45 and 60 were 3rd. His channel is timu33. Looking forward to more summer fun!!

Don't know, never saw under the hood. The runs were set up by someone that knows the camaro guy. I just said OK. :) Always up for the fun!!

There is a feature called 'multi-quote' that would make this thread a whole lot easier to read.....

    Nice video too :D

  3. And I think a Porsche would be a no-go. Too much money for not being in love with them. Of course, haven't ever driven one, so maybe I shouldn't pass judgment too quickly.

Word of warning....don't drive it, unless you're ready to buy it.....because after you drive it, you probably will want to :D

I love the USA just as much as the next guy, but there is something about German Engineering that is hard to resist.....just a fair warning now

  4. Just go with the best...

You seem like a classy, sophisticated dude. You don't want to look like a noob do you?

    This ^^

It's also great for running errands like dropping off your kids, according to their new ad campaign. Who needs a fucking mini-van these days when you could have a perfectly capable kid-hauler such as a 911 Turbo.

    ...and this ^^

  5. Looking for a jack that I can take to autox events and also to the track to lift my car. I am looking for one that has a longer handle, not the shorter one. I am also looking for one under $100 (if possible) It needs to be somewhat low profile, but not an absolute requirement.....

I just bought this one from Harbor Freight but it STRUGGLED to just lift one side of the car and I returned it

    .......therefore the search continues......

    any help is appreciated.......thanks!

  6. Yeah, they will most likely keep closed PI and II until the ground dries up and they get a crew to do some cleanup. They typically do that each season, especially with all the rain we've been having
  7. I remember you work for Huntington...

Props to that bank for sponsoring their employees, but people outside of HBAN need to raise $1,000 to $1,500 to participate? I could be wrong...My sis-in-law did it last year, and she is a pro-fundraiser...she still had a few hundy to make up even after the race was over.

Great cause, but you need to definitely get support behind you in order to participate.

This is true, but you have all the way until October to raise all the money. You don't have to have all the money the day of the race. Basically they get your CC number and whatever you don't raise, they ding your card in October.....yeah it kind of motivates you to raise the money :D

  8. my bud might have a fork for you. what fisher do you have?

2000 Wahoo.....looking for a shock fork (I would assume that is obvious, but just wanted to be sure) Probably not the time to buy, but who knows. PM me, or just let me know what he's got on here.

  9. Not sure if you can read this without being a member, but my friend had a similar issue on his E36 http://ohiobimmers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3776&page=2

It sounds like a possible HG to me??

Also, how many miles are on it?

If I were you, I would pay to have a PPI done before you buy it because there are lot of other things that would need attention that typically need refreshed on the E36 engines and chassis.

    Things to check/ask:

Last time the cooling system was replaced/updated (rad, tstat, waterpump)

Rear Trailing arms bushings-have they ever been replaced? (aka RTAB's)

Rear Shock Mounts- same question (aka RSM's)

This is a lot of reading, but gives you a good idea of everything to check for: This is specifically for an M3, but alot of similarities with the 97 328

    http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=300562

Again, I would get a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) done and make sure you don't have a pandora's box you're about to buy.

If you need advice on a good shop, John over at Best Motor Werks is a great shop for this. Tell him Kale sent you, and he'll take good care of you.
