    2011 cycling

    Hmmmmm.....I'm intrigued
  2. My wife and I the morning of, right before the ride started. Her aunt had passed many years ago, and my best friends dad had just beat cancer right before this ride from treatment he received at the James!!......So needless to say, it meant alot that we were doing this. http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/bmwohio/3fafbd74.jpg

    2011 cycling

In the summer time I usually ride to Hoover, play a round of disc golf, and then ride back home. No road bike would make your ride pretty shitty :grin2: I usually hit up phase I and II but my Gary Fisher is beat to shit and needs a new front shock
  4. WOW! That's fantastic progress, keep it up! Whenever I was training I would just thing about what cancer patients go through, and feel lucky that I am healthy and can be out there riding. This ride is about so many other things and people. Big props for you doing this :thumbup
  5. Great cause and great event! Rode it last year with my wife. We did the 45 mile portion. If you are on the fence, go for it!

    2011 cycling

I try to get in in at least 100 miles a week. I live in Westerville, in Highland Lakes and usually ride in that area if anyone wants to ride up there. Better to ride with two than by yourself.
  7. Friend of mine in SCCA OVR just got a white GT3, and is running it this year in SS.....come on out if you would like to see it in action...Beautiful machine http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/bmwohio/a1d0166e.jpg
  8. Andy is a great guy, I highly recommend him as well!
  9. Wife had one for two years as a DD. Got it with 30,xxx miles and sold it on CL with 75,xxx miles. Changed the oil, rotated the tires. Had to replace the steering shaft on it (common for GM's). Other than that it was a nice car, no complaints. Not the greatest in the snow, a little too much power combined with being too light in the front end, make sure you get some good all seasons or run snow tires in the winter. Good luck!
  10. I just went to Harbor Freight and they have discontinued item #67408 for $59.99 and will not be getting anymore in stock at the West Broad or 161 Store. The replacement is Item #68503 that is regularly priced at $119, is on sale for $99, and $79 with their 'super coupon' This is the one I bought --> http://www.harborfreight.com/rapid-pump-15-ton-compact-aluminum-racing-jack-68053-html.html

  12. Are you looking for an M or just an E36? If so, I usually know of people who are selling.
  13. This is my DD/Autocross/Track car. It is very reliable, and as long as you take care of the preventative maintenance, you will be very happy with it. E36's are very easy to work on...I have owned the car for almost 2 years and have yet to pay a mechanic for any work done to the car.

  18. Not sure if you measured yet, but I just did an axle nut on a Honda Civic this past weekend and it was a 32mm. We used a HF Impact socket to loosen and tighten.

  22. Ha! That's awesome.......I just saw March 30th, didn't even look at the year. Count on the new guy to F things up
  23. Yup, that will give you plenty of time....I imagine with this being the first event, that there may be more than one like you wanting to register on site....
  24. What year is your EK? I have been helping my friend this week put on ASR Rear sway, rear brace, and skunk 2 PRO C coilovers, rear camber kit, lower control arms, and upper control arms on his 97 3 door Civic. He's eventually wants to run Honda Challenge, but for now is running autocross. We were trying to get done before first event this Saturday. He has one corner left, as he sheared a bolt while disassembling and still needs to drill it out. Sorry for crappy phone pics: http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/bmwohio/f098b6a4.jpg http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/bmwohio/44500443.jpg http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/bmwohio/80517fff.jpg http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/bmwohio/f7b1ffd6.jpg http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/bmwohio/490a2876.jpg http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae245/bmwohio/7f82866b.jpg
