Pads and titanium also do an awesome job at keeping heat out. Castrol SRF is probably the most common fluid used in racing and will boil at 600*f the pad may see 1000 but it doesn't all transfer to the caliper or fluid.

Here is my first match, only filmed the last stage thinking it would be my best but it was the worst.
The consumer grade "fireproof" ones are just lined with drywall. The nice ones are $3k and up with aluminum sheets sandwiched between 1/4" steel and fire proof air tight doors.
I really like my stack on cabinet.
Natural gas is so cheap it doesn't matter. I pay like $35 to 80 month all year even when I had aluminum frame windows and back door. Now with new windows I haven't seen a bill over 70. Kept the house at 72. Nest has shown over 12 hours of furnace use per day.

My 99 civic SI runs in STL. Could it run with chump? Basically stock motor, trans with a 4.9 diff. Single adjustable shocks and big front brake calipers. 175whp, 2200lbs rolling on track with me in it.
I race with SCCA but never done an endurance race although i wish to try it. Never been invited to a team and dont have faith on Aaron, Rymer and I being able to actually coordinate a racecar build and a weekend race.
