I know your required to pass a background check in order to purchase a gun from a retailer, but what about a private sale? If you buy a gun from a person its legal to do it that way, and you wouldn't have to go through all the illegal hassle the city of akron wants to put you through.

Being fisted by my grandmother would particularly offend me, being that I don't have a living grandmother.

Maybe check for restrictions in the hose going to and from the heater core? Seems odd to me that one is hot and one is cold. Also, do these have a valve to restrict coolant flow when the heater is not in use? That could be a possibility if it has one.

The owner is prolly in the 53%.

Except one of these could land someone in jail.

I have a 99 blazer if your interested. It probably has more miles than your looking for at 161k, but it is dead reliable and considerably less than what you have to spend. If your interested, just pm me and i'll give you a list of the good and the bad.

So cancel your order with target and buy from another company that will actually ship it when they say.

Sounds to me that with Obamacare you don't have a choice who is raping you, but without you do... Sounds like ima get raped either way. -

Have you tried doing a web search on the name or number? You may be able to get some info online like an address or something.

Looks like it needs a couple bolts for the strut tower brace, and the charge piping looks kinda janky to me... otherwise it doesn't look horrible, as long as you can get it for the right price.

Monica Durban is still trying to pass this street racing bill

I was refering to those whos cars haven't been taken yet (first time caught). Besides, to some with deep pockets (read mommy and daddy), they would just go get they're cars out of impound and (possibly) not learn any lesson. I believe if it can be proven your racing after you have already been caught once, then the car should be destroyed. Same idea should apply to drunk driving too. -
Anyone ever rent from Ardent property management or Triangle?
Green Bastard replied to Brrcats's topic in Dumpster
No, I've never pursued it, anytime I speak with any landlord I'm interested in renting from, I'm very up front about the fact that it is on my record and I explain it to them. I've not had a problem with it, but I don't go through any property management companies anymore. Someday I'll look into how to get it cleared from my record, but for now I have more priorities to worry about at the moment. -

I used to live right off of polaris and rent from Ardent. Seems a shady company to me for sure, and I have delt with the TC guy. They did trump up the charges on me to the tune of about 3 grand (after deposit was applied), but some was justified (carpets needed replaced because the washer flooded once, but they knew about that among other things). I didn't have the money in the time frame they wanted and they took it to court to get a judgement against me and my wife. On top of that I have an eviction on my record because of them when I shouldn't. The lease said you need to give 2 months notice in writing prior to moving out and I did such, but somehow got an eviction like a month after I moved out. Also, if any charges are deserved after you move out, the TC guy admitted that you can make an offer on what you owe and not have to pay the entire ammount. -

Tim, I can see some of your points of view, and agree for the most part. However you said even on heavily patroled days you can still avoid the cops and still have fun... there are others out there, even with these new laws in place, that will think the exact same thing. I can see where it would be a deterrant, but I can see a good percentage of those who do street race ignoring the stiffer consequences. Personally I think there should be a program for anyone caught street racing where they have to either watch a (graphic) video of what can result from street racing (i.e. car accident victems), or have to witness it first hand (go to the hospital and see accident victems). Maybe that would be more effective as a deterrant. -

So what happens in the instance where the street racers pace you or pass you as a cop happens to see it, he pulls you over because you have a seemingly modified car and busts you for street racing even though you weren't involved? So now you have a big ticket, an impounded car, and big lawyer fees to try to get out of it. On top of that, I would bet that they aren't just going to give you your car back, now you have to pay to get it out of impound (if your found not guilty of street racing). Seems like just another way to generate revenue to me. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think they shouldn't have stiffer penalities for those who decide to partake in illegal racing (also should have stiffer penalties for DUI's as well), but they should have an outline as to what is considered street racing, and where they should draw the line at. I know there wouldn't be a perfect outline, but at least there would be some consistancy in what they should look for. I'm not the kind of guy who street races, too much on the line for me to do that, and (if I can ever get my car built to be worthy) I would prefer to race in a controlled environment. However I am the kind of guy who enjoys modifying cars and having them still be street legal, I don't want to have my car taken, get some hefty fines, and look at possible jailtime just because I have a car that is modified. -
I was mistaken, that is a vq30 (according to Wikipedia), its a 3.0 though.

If the guy you bought it off told you this, he was lying. The vg30 heads won't bolt up to the vq35 block.

Seems like a step up from the civic, and those motors can be dead reliable when taken care of. If you ever need help working on it, I'd be happy to lend a hand. I used to have a z31 turbo (same engine, different setup).

AFAIK towing companies cannot touch a car that is in a closed garage or gated in a driveway. If the gate/garage door is open however, that is a different story.

I had an eclipse once with a 420a motor and the cel would come on once it was warmed up then it would stall. Turned out to be a bad relay (fuel system somewhere iirc). Could be something for you to check.

Ok, pretty standard metal frame, I forgot to mention that. I'll try to have pics up tomorrow.
