Side note, watched Wheeler-Dealer last night. They did an IMS replacement on a 996. Bearing was going out at 65K miles. I will say if you're half skilled at wrenching (assuming you have the required tools) it didn't look terrible to do.

Roots blower would be all I would use on a truck. Low end torque is gud. But, if you're gonna turbo it then On3 fo sho. -
Only short bed/Reg cab to get the 3.5 Eco.

I owed the Tremor prior to Mitch. I bought it with 25K miles on it. It had rust even then. Never owed a truck that had frame rust and bubbles under the paint that wasn't 20 years old with 200K miles on it. You're argument over the "PO treatment" is invalid.

Put a smaller diameter belt on the Vette. With the blower and the secondary drive it's a huge PITA.

My 113K mile 14 year old LS2 survived a few seasons of a blower. You shouldn't have an issue unless you have Proxses tune it.

Picked up a new daily. 2019 GTI S in a manual. Hard to believe this is more fun to drive than my Vette and Camaro. WHO KNEW? :gabe:
