  1. In for this with my Trans Am and my dad's Triumph TR8
  2. It would be cool if the NSX somehow had a stick option with the dual-clutch, keep it true to it's roots almost, especially since it'll be a "lesser" supercar than the P1, F150, etc, although it does look promising, and it's cool it'll be built in Ohio of all places
  3. Awesome, it sounds like it's gonna be one heck of a fun event, pretty far to get there but it should be worth it!
  4. So you drive stage-to-stage? Seems pretty good, are each of the stages a pretty decent amount of time each?
  5. Great! My only concern is working 8 am sunday morning (planning to leave the rally around 6 or 7 on saturday and drive back to Columbus afterward), but I think the trip will prove to be worth it! Is there shuttling or something to get from one stage to the next, during the rally?
  6. I've been offered a ride to Missouri with some college friends to watch the Rally America event in the 100 Acre Wood this weekend, and I'm thinking I'll go. I've never been to a rally event, so can anyone here chime in on the experience? All I know is we're camping in campgrounds, then I believe we're allowed to go basically anywhere within the stages and photograph/watch the cars go through, is this true? I'm pretty excited with this being relatively close, in Missouri, and hope it'll be good!
  7. This thing looks awesome, and personally I hope it eats the new Ferrari F150 up in every area. Car looks amazing, and apparently it's going to be one of the quickest road cars ever around certain tracks like Spa, Silverstone, etc
  8. That thing looks pretty good on the LT1 front end, surprisingly
  9. LOL, desperately needs wheel spacers, paint, and less steel. Fail.
  10. Constant cardio and cutting out soda/candy, all high-fat/high-calorie foods that aren't nutritionally beneficial. I've been steadily cutting weight for the past year and a half, and lost 50+lbs (more during summer when you burn more weight just sitting in the sun, sweating). Just eat basically healthy foods, don't overdo it on protein, etc. I'd recommend running, biking, or using a rowing machine for at least 30 minutes a day, 5-6 days a week. Couple that with healthy eating, and weight loss isn't hard at all, it just takes consistency.
  11. There doesn't seem to be enough evidence from this video alone that the car did hit 283, although it does seem possible, and will probably be achieved soon, since the cars have been hitting 260's in the standing mile up to now.
  12. They swapped a Powerglide into it for the standing mile, so it's an Auto transmission now.

    Walking Dead

Rick needs to get his act together and lead the group again, it's getting annoying, almost like when Shane went crazy last season and his death was put off for so darn long. I'm hoping the revolting attack by Rick's group will be much better than the Governor's attack was. Was definitely pretty ingenius to use the walkers, and expose that whole side of the prison. Whoever got out of the van must be important somehow, as they put emphasis on the person fleeing the van. Next week is going to be REAL good, this season's getting better by the episode.
  14. That thing is amazing. He's been getting so much hate on the RX7 forums and Jalopnik because it's "too" trashy looking. It's original/unique, he loves it, and I think it's awesome, would love to have that thing! Power to weight ratio seems pretty darn good, too.
  15. Loving that list! I'd love an 850 T5-R or an R63AMG, would daily drive the heck out of them!
  16. Yeah, that'd be a public nightmare. I'm gonna go with number 2, something's telling me this guy's already on his way into Mexico if he's still alive
  17. Ok cool, I was looking into a "Boss" brand H/U for $30 on amazon, I figure if it breaks at least it's only $30 instead of a couple hundred if it was a nicer one
  18. I was thinking this exactly, why give up all of a sudden when it's been planned for ages? He's a survivalist, I'm still doubting he's the one that got burned, for that reason. He's an ex-cop, so in addition to being a survivalist, he knows how the LAPD works; nothing's really adding up in the story imo, either the media/police aren't releasing withheld information (a LOT) or this guy is still out there, and used their take on the house, as his cover to get out
  19. Antenna problem sounds like my car, lol. Spyder is where I'd seen the weight of the car before, then, knew it was a pretty heavy-ish car. I never knew the VR-4's AWD was able to go FWD or RWD bias, I'd read 50/50 under power, 60/40 under slipping tires and such. Is it tunable with the ECU, or does it just choose when it wants either bias?
  20. That car was out of Cinci? Felt bad for the kid, car looked good before he wrecked it
  21. Major want on that LSX Conquest, always loved the way those things looked. That, or a 3.8 Turbo Buick motor would be pretty epic in one of those early DSM's
  22. Uh Oh...How long was Dorner in the house? Could he have planned it somehow and figured out a way to escape the house while it was on fire?
  23. My Monsoon CD player recently started giving me the E22 and E20 code when I put CD's into it, and it will no longer read CD's, plus I just need an iPod accessible head unit. Anyone have one on compatible with the Monsoon system (I've heard there's some differences to regular wiring and such with the Monsoon) for sale, or know where I can get one for cheap?
  24. Both cars' parts are hard to come by, the 3000GT seems like the 90's version of the R35 GTR in that it's a technological marvel, lots of parts and lots to possibly go wrong. I'd still take a VR-4 any day, but would rather drive an R33 lol
