  1. Those are the 2014 spec motors, 2013 is still the 3.0L V8. I'm assuming that's just an updated version of KERS?
  2. Had my TA with 5% tread on my all seasons at work today till 6:00, bad choice. Sawmill and the side-roads into Dublin were all ice.
  3. Going up to Mad River for the college student discount 10pm-3am tomorrow.
  4. Differences are suspension/ride height, the exhaust exits in the middle of the rear bumper, hence no towing ability, the front and rear bumpers are different, wheels are different, etc.
  5. Epic recap of Colin's achievements and life, definitely one of my all-time favorites in motorsports in general, let alone rallying.
  6. That guy is fucked up in so many ways, especially the French girl, video is disturbing as hell...
  7. Probably close to original retail. There was a brand spanking new Firehawk that sold for its original price this year at Barret Jackson, with 60 miles on the clock.
  8. Haven't seen one in person yet, but willing to bet it's pretty epic!
  9. Yeah, damn snow covered this one completely and I heard a loud bang :fuuuu: lol. Any junkyard in Cbus you recommend? I'm on main campus for class tomorrow morning so I'm thinking I'll just drop by a junkyard on the way home anyway.
  10. So I clipped a curb this weekend with my TA and the sideskirt cracked for about 1.5ft from the rear tire, forward, and a 6-8" section snapped off right by the rear tire :fuuuu: Now I'm going to try and get a replacement skirt (passenger side) and do all the work repainting and such by myself. What kind of work does it entail to repaint it (NBM), or would it be worth it to try and fix the crack/broken piece? I have the piece that broke off, and it fits back perfectly onto the skirt, just won't stay in place, obviously. I've looked into repairing broken fiberglass, and it appears it is, at least in theory, possible to repair, with just gorilla glue for the snapped off piece, and a fiberglassing kit for the crack down the underside. Has anyone repaired a skirt before, or done anything of the sort before? I'd like to repair it/get a new or used one on for as cheap as possible, asap. Please let me know what the best route is, and how I can go about doing that!
  11. On the yellow Viper are they showing the Mopar body additions? The lip spoiler on the rear actually looks pretty good, imo. How does the Ferrari F12 look in person? In pictures it's not growing on me at all
  12. Show was awesome for their return, definitely loved the part with Jeremy's P45 creation, pretty cool little car, but obviously not a success on Shark Tank lol. That Huayra is downright insanely fast though, even with the horrid launch it got.
  13. Especially since he seems so proud to talk about his cars and the technology they have, definitely seems like a legit car nut. I want his job, LOL.
  14. Lol, I remember about 5 years back I was at a shop in CT and there was one of the original 1000TT Viper GTS's in for work. Don't remember the exact reason, but the guy had just sent it to Hennessey for the power/bodykit on the Viper, taken it to 1 track day, and the engine blew. He was in the process of suing Hennessey for not building the car completely to withstand the power (apparently he avoided doing a complete build, took the rest of the guy's money), but he somehow ended up losing the case, and about $100k into his Viper. Sketchy is all Hennessey is.
  15. Jalopnik's AOTD today was the top 10 ways to spot a gearhead, but I don't necessarily agree with #6. Sometimes it makes better sense than others, but still seems iffy for me. I'd replace it with Heel-and-Toeing or blipping downshifts, as is suggested in the comments. Anyone else think of any others missed by Jalopnik, or agree/disagree with the list? http://jalopnik.com/5978318/ten-ways-to-spot-a-gearhead-in-real-life
  16. He seems pretty down to earth, and just looking to make the most unique cars on the planet, while also being crazy fast cars. I don't get the same vibe with Hennessey...
  17. 10's with only DR's?! Jeez this thing is gonna be quick...
  18. Yeah, rare enough already lol. $400k with the 10% buyers' premium seems like a good deal for that car, most regular 959's have been hovering around the $400k mark for a while now.
  19. Really hoping this looks better in person, the least Chevy could've done was give it the four separate circular taillights, and make the rear look more coupe-like. Almost seems sports sedan-like in the rear from certain angles
  20. That thing is epic! Major want!
  21. Was that 959 the one that sold for just over $400k and was a prototype? Pretty cool car it sounded like.
  22. AHHHHH major want on that Ruf!
