  1. I faintly remember that, maybe. I'm not into electronics, so something like this for me is easily forgotten.
  2. Clay - you've been batting 2 for 2. First for Dronell wheels and now this. What's up?
  3. I love the snow slipstream emanating from my vehicle. It looks so cool.
  4. Again, faulty logic and skewed topic.
  5. I would stay away from it. I'm on the unfortunate end of a '2 Beetle Turbo owned by Mother in Law. The car has gotten so many expensive parts replaced. They're famous for the self-destructing water pump (impeller disintegrates) and clogged oil pump pickup. Fabric/leather patch on various interior panels would start lifting by now and watch for water marks on the headliner. Be prepared to start cleaning electrical contacts when a light doesn't turn on; it's rarely the bulb. Sometimes giving it a sharp jolt will regain contact. Plastic pieces and hoses under the hood would start to get brittle and crack especially the oil dipstick. Watch out for the coil failure which is easy to replace until the boot decided to separate. If you insisted on picking it up, I'd suggest taking off the oil pan and have the oil pump pickup cleaned during the timing belt and water pump replacement. The rest are nickel-and-dime that get beyond annoying.
  6. Wonder how long of an explanation that the owner of certain orange M4 could write about this one. Three pages typed single space?
  7. I agree. I'll remove snow and ice from all windows and lights. The rest? Fuck it and fuck them.
  8. Houston to Clay. It said "Dronnel" in the ad ... Godspeed. Houston out.
  9. Replicating what Ford did to BOSS 302 Laguna Seca will yield a car with very nice handling characteristics. Adding a Watts Link to the rear will perfect it.
  10. Cordell is a mechanic at Lash Chevrolet in Johnstown if you don't mind the drive. So far he has handled my '8 Corvette Z06, '8 Solstice GXP, and '15 GMC Sierra.
  11. F550 Crew with Laredo Conversion?
  12. The Beetle to get is Turbo RS-R with the 341hp twinturbo flat 6 and AWD. It comes with a 7-speed manual and 2-speed rear end to tackle the Pikes Peak. Watch out for the engine substitution for the ultra-reliable Subaru flat-6 as the original engine is prone to leaking mineral oil from the power steering pump into the transfer case. Those with original engine fetch more money as the owners likely have spent a small fortune into the misfortune engine. As far as wheels, Ronal Bear is ultra cute but it's 14" but it's lighter but it's so rare (I know, right?). Daisy wheels are stronger and it's 17", which, if my math is correct, is like 3i inches more than the Bear. My friend told me that 3i inches have made all the difference in the world, that it makes the world better, world peace, etc. But, what the heck she knows *rolls eyes*. Anyway, back to the wheels. I heard that some supercars had staggered setup. I think it would be totally cool to have a staggered setup in the Beetle SR-S. You see, the Ronal Bear is 14" and the Daisy is 17", this way the Beetle can have the supercar stance (I know, right?) for a fraction of the cost. Now I can't remember whether the 14" Bear go to the front or to the back? But you're supposed to use the same size wheels for the same side. No, wait, maybe they need to alternate, like, if you put the Bear on the front on this side, the other side would be the Daisy. That way you can totally double up the cool and the cute. The nice thing about the wheels is since you would buy a Porsche, they would totally fit the Porsche too since I heard this one guy in chatbox bought a Porsche and people called it a Beetle. Oh wait, or was it an Audi? Audi TeeTs maybe? IDK, those cars confuse me. They all look alike. I know, right? Anyway, when you have bought the car, please take many many selfies of the car. I heard that people got shunned for not showing pictures of their cars in here especially for a car as cool as a Beetle RR-R. Good luck with the purchase.
  13. Damn it, I was expecting a high-revving small V8 of some sort. BTW, its name is pronounced NOT like the drink mix. Just like Porsche's Macan was taken from an Indonesian word, the "Tang" is suprisingly Chinese.
  14. Fancy and made-in-taiwan don't mix
  15. Asking a question like this over the internet won't yield a usable answer. Why don't you bring it over to CC&C and I'll bring my OBD II scanner capable of retrieving codes on some SRS systems.
  16. How much are you going to pay me to take it out of your garage, Greg, hmm?
  17. Keep your fingertips moist with any lotion or moisturizer. This is a matter of regular upkeep, what is used to keep them moist, as long as using a proper one (please don't use axle grease or gear oil), is irrelevant.
  18. I'll send Mark Black a PM. See if he would tackle this.
