    CC&C 14 sept

    I apparently didn't go.
  2. A buddy is parting out a 1989 Mazda RX-7 convertible. The list below contains only some of parts; a lot more are available. Engine and transmission are already gone. - Blue interior parts (panels, dash, seats, etc.) - Gray trunk interior panels - 2 spare tires, jack, tools - 3 sets of BBS 15x6.5 wheels. One set has decent BFG G-Force Sport tires. - Passenger front fender, has one small rust spot - Window motors and switches - Convertible top motors, boot cover, and targa panel bag - Almost complete ac system sans condenser, still holding pressure when the lines were loosened. Compressor seems to be in good condition along with most lines. - Wiper motor and linkage - Near bare chassis Also, there are a bunch of black interior parts from a 1990 coupe. Let him know what you need. PM him here or email him here.
  3. The 918 makes the Carrera GT looking like a bargain basement.
  4. There's an electronic part store on Indianola; can't remember its name.
  5. Form following function, if it looks good it's a bonus. I could not care any less how the wheels look like on a Porsche 918.
  6. Fight ! Fight ! Fight !
  7. No need to be salty, Jones; just because his car collection is more desirable than yours ...
  8. Very good, Clay. Stick with current global issues and not cars ... ;-)
  9. The places I know selling such thing are industrial supply stores such as Grainger and MSC.
  10. At RockAuto, there are at least two AC Delco versions; the prices I quoted were for the more expensive version. The Moog and Timken versions are cheaper.
  11. The most expensive price for a hub assembly at RockAuto is $235 for the rear and $165 for the front.
  12. Wow. Is the wheel bearing/hub in the format of an assembly ? If so, that's a very short work.
  13. It'll be scratched easily and stretching it over smaller radius compound curves is a difficult process. Risking sounding like a Plasti Dip salesman, I'd try the smoked one.
  14. Try it and report back. Would be nice to know an alternative place to have window tint installed
  15. It looks like the exact same lift I have. Damn it, if money wasn't tight, I would've picked it up. It's an assembled lift available locally.
  16. Discout Tire doesn't do alignment, but Tire Discounter does.
  17. If you want Amsoil, I'm sure some members here have an account. Amsoil warehouse is local in Columbus.
  18. Send me a PM if you're open for some other suggestion, I'll give you my wheel and tire connection.
