Just found out I cannot go with just a map sensor on my 98 camaro turbo project and I need a maf also. Anyone have a maf to sell, I will pick up immediately. call me at the shop, 614-439-0057 Seems like this is a long shot but figured Id check here first before ordering one in

the weird thing is that they will not give any information about it. They said they are letting the nhra rate it for hp? No clue what that was supposed to mean but I went along with it. They would not give hp numbers on the car either, they said its just a base file and did a few burnout videos(which I dont believe either). I then proceeded to ask questions about the oil pump gears and some of the failures people have seen. The two guys didnt take well to that and acted irritated at that point. So I gave up asking them any further questions and just decided to move along.

cool, Im going to wrap up some orders here at the shop and Ill shoot you a text in a bit. Ill also pm you as its easier for me to type out the message quicker. Im going to be out from tomorrow till Saturday for Sema and Ill be back in the shop all next week. So if there is a nice day or even over the weekend, I can knock it out. Shouldnt really take me any time, I just need to adjust the tips to make sure everything lines up corrected on a bone stock car.

I designed an over the axle exhaust and I want to test fit on a bone stock car. I have kept the stock locations on my car but before I invest into a production kit, I want to verify fitment on an unmodified car. If anyone has a car, I will pay you cash or give someone one of our off-road x pipes. I would just need the car for a day If you have one or know of someone, please let me know

I think I should be fine with just the 2 bar sensor, Im going to leave the car very low boost just to drive around and try to keep it alive. So from my understanding I just need to pick up a cobalt ss sensor. It will see maybe 6psi off gate pressure and Im just going to leave it like that. I really just want to get it together to start getting miles on the setup.

Looks like next week I have someone stopping over to do a pump and maybe rod bolts. I will certainly take you up on the offer for the pump. I have the turbo mounted on both of my kits really about as high as you can get it without moving the radiator. So I want to see if its going to be able to gravity drain good enough. I want to stay away from the pump if at all possible but worst case, I just have to put a scavenge pump on it If I loosen the engine mounts and lift the engine a little, will I be able to pull the pan off without dropping the kmember again?

How did you guys run? Pham any new 10 second passes?

Cool, with the amount of miles on this car, Im just not going to push it at all. So I dont plan on doing rod bolts even though I should. I might hit up a friend and see if he will do an upgraded oil pump in the car at least for me. I just have so much going on I just dont have the time to work on the car really. If I can get him to do that, I might do the rod bolts since it would be pretty easy Then if we do that and the pan would be off, we will just weld in a fitting. I guess it comes down to if my friend has time to come over and do it for me

Ok sounds good, thanks I just wanted to be sure before I tackled the drain. I wanted to get that in there before anything else goes on this car. About how far from the top lip are you going into the pan? I just want to be sure I dont go too low with it and have it below the oil level.
