  1. I’m happy with what I did this year. The Firehawk got a new 9 inch with 4:11’s. Then I had the front bumper, rear bumper and side skirts repainted after 20 years and 90k+ miles. I replaced the tank, fuel pump, sending unit etc in the 89 formula and it seems to be doing better. For 2021, I have new set of TSP heads and cam for the Firehawk. I really want to work on the 89’s paint this year. It has 30 years of rubbing on it and needs the paint corrected.
  2. Yup. Dereck D and Steve Palmer are my first calls if I need a lawyer. I was circling back to the thread title and combined thoughts.
  3. It depends on how you look at it. I recommend everyone read After You Shoot by Alan Korwin. It’s a great read and will really make you think about what happens after an event. Even if you do everything “right” you will likely still be spending some time with the police and need legal representation. If you have the funds for that then no worries. But most people don’t and legal costs can cripple a family. There are a bunch of differences options, USCCA, Second Call etc. The biggest advantage I see is having a network of lawyers that will work with you and the up front cash to pay for bail and retainers if necessary. People who are considering it can offset some of their risk by educating themselves. Read and know the laws. Know what to say if you call the police. Have an emergency fund with enough for bail or retainer. Know the name of the lawyer and memorize her/her number. If you don’t carry outside your home, the likelihood of needing the coverage goes down. But if you carry outside your home, there are a lot of external forces you can’t foresee. Good luck and thanks for reading.
  4. Texas Speed has 10% off heads and cams.
  5. I have not heard anything about this. It makes sense. Can you post a link? Thanks
  6. Paint the part they don’t like green or put AstroTurf down. See if they notice.
  7. Yea this happened a few days ago. People are pissed on the forums. I’m not paying for an account so I guess I am done with them. It is a shame too as I have had pretty good luck over the years.
  8. Yup...after the last 22 shortage, I decided I wouldn’t need to worry about it again. I go to LEPD and they said their range business is down considerably due to no one having ammo to shoot. It will probably be at least another year of this.
  9. I’ll just keep making my own. Other than 22, I have not shot a factory load in years.
  10. Nice work. Always loved that truck.
  11. My DD is either a 2001 Accord EXL V6 with 64k or a 2007 Jeep Liberty 6MT with 47K miles. Neither are exciting but they don’t let me down and I don’t have payments.
  12. Want to shoot one? PM me and you can try both side by side. Not much difference but I am always down for a range trip.
  13. Street Racing Channel - it’s a local family from Newark/Lancaster area. Hoovies Garage. WatchJRGo Ramblin Around TWA Motorsports Non-car stuff Another Dirty Room - frickin hilarious and you will never want to stay at a hotel again. Wierd History and Geograpics - Both same Simon guy who is funny and interesting.
  14. Not the 5.0 I was expecting but looks great. My first thought was that’s a funny looking mustang.
  15. Does it have the accu trigger? Can you send a couple pictures? 614-216-0567
  16. Are you going to be there during those times tomorrow and Sunday? I could use a couple things for my house and my mom’s.
  17. I went through Wheel Medic and they used PVD chrome on my Firehawk wheels. I have 2 sets of wheels and the original set of chrome wheels were pitted and pealing. The other set was painted. Wheel Medic would not use the Chrome set but did use the painted set. The end result is great. But I do not know if PVD would be an option since you have to strip the old chrome off. CalChrome advertises a lot at car shows but I have never used them. https://www.google.com/search?q=calchrome&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari There is also a place in eastern Ohio near Cadiz I think but I forget the name. I called anyone and everyone I could find when trying to get my wheels redone. Good luck.
  18. Will be watching. Looks like it will be a beast when done.
  19. Casting takes a while but I can reload most of what I need. I figure stocks won’t go back to “normal” until next year. I’ve been asked what should I buy by several people recently. I tell them they missed the boat and now are going to pay more and wait in line if they can find what they want. A friend waited 2 hours at Vance’s recently. No way I’m doing that.
