  1. I have had several looney toons dealing with Armslist. I once had someone want to trade an item down in Hilltop at 10pm. Not happening. I’ve always said Armslist is another version of CL. 10 wakadoos for every 1 serious buyer. Stay safe.
  2. What brand of SPP and how much per 1,000? I could use some but haven’t wanted to go buy any for a while. Between the panic buyers and lockdowns, it wasn’t worth going out.
  3. I have purchased a lot of my reloading stuff from Fin Feather and Fur. They have a big store in Ashland about 70 miles north off I-71 at exit 186. The entire basement is reloading stuff. Their prices are also better than any place I have seen in Columbus.
  4. I am using the hornady ap press. I use it for 9 and 45. It takes a lot of tinkering to get it to run smoothly. Mine is probably about 95% there but it I still have to help it index to the next station sometimes. Overall it t is a lot faster than single stage but you have to upgrade from the basic ap press if you want to maximize it. Each primer tube holds about 120 SPP so you will need to add primers that often. Without a case feeder or bullet feeder, I have a small bucket I pull from and that has to be refilled. I also still measure about 1 in 10 charges so that slows you down too. The biggest irritation is forgetting to push the ram forward to seat the new primer. I probably do that at least 1 or 2 in a hundred. So I set everything nose down and inspect before I put them in boxes. Hope that helps. TL:DR Progressive are good but take time to get right and are not automatically perfect.
  5. Looks good. Thanks for organizing the cruise.
  6. Planning on participating and in for BBQ. I may drag a child along but not likely.
  7. My Firehawk was east of Pittsburgh and I couldn’t believe how well it was taken care of. I kept asking for pictures including having him put it on a rack for underneath. If you’re a serious buyer ask for a shit load of picks or do a FaceTime or zoom call with him going around it. Good luck!
  8. I filed 2018 but 2019 yet since they extended the deadline and I owe this year. I am under the income limit and have not changed bank accounts so idk.
  9. Have not received mine yet. Not sure why.
  10. I’m cleaning out some stuff and have a big box of gun magazines. They include Guns and Ammo, Guns, American Handgunner, Gun Digest and a few others. There’s probably about 200. Free if anyone wants to come to Worthington to get them. Otherwise I’ll recycle them at the end of the week.
  11. This was my last day at my current job and I am starting a new job Monday. Instead of working in an office I am being mailed a new laptop and am supposed to work from home. I have no idea how this will go but as long as I get paid then I’m ok with it.
  12. Thanks everyone. I will reach out this week.
  13. Hi everyone. I need some recommendations for a good tax guy/gal. I just found out the person I’ve used for the last 20 years is in the hospital needing triple bypass. My return is relatively complicated so it’s beyond the basic TurboTax. Thanks!
  14. Silver was down under $15/0z. It hasn’t been that low for a while.
  15. Dollar stores usually have bleach. It won’t be Clorox but it’s bleach. Also try Menards or HD. They have a good cleaning supply section.
  16. Interested. Question- with the camera writing over the same info over and over, is there a decrease in quality after while? I am old enough to remember VCR tapes which is not a fair comparison but I am still curious. Thanks
  17. My wife came home with a sore throat. I yelled corona. She flicked me off and went to bed.
  18. My kids have been sick enough this year. I just don’t want to deal with more bodily fluids where they are not supposed to be. Those germ factories they call schools where the kids hack all over the desks then move to another classroom every 45 minutes and repeat is just disgusting. No wonder stuff spreads like wildfire. I’m not that worried about the virus itself but of the disruption of supply chains. I worry we are only a newscast away from people cleaning out grocery store shelves and refusing to go outside.
  19. I put some more in. At 6% down it’s like buying several months ago. If I’m right it will go back up. If I’m wrong we will all be dead anyway so who cares?
  20. I watched the kids make snowmen last night. Now that box is checked, I am ready for spring.
  21. His metric is you shouldn’t own things that are going down in value that equal more than 50% of your income. I modified it a little. He also advocates for buying with cash not debt. The point of all of it is to not over spend. My opinion and it’s worth what you paid for it, is people should drive cars appropriate for where they are in life financially. The reality is people finance cars, either by leasing or buying. To each their own. But a lot of people get in over their heads when it comes to buying cars. My original point was and still is not to over spend. Get what you need to accomplish your purpose. If you have $2k for a car then that’s your budget. But I don’t think people should spend all their money on something that is going down in value which is what Ramsey is talking about too. Most people don’t make six figure incomes. But it is sure easy to get into a newer car that can cripple the ability to save and get ahead. A newer used minivan can cost $25k. For a household making $50k a year that’s 50% of their income. It makes it very hard for that family to get ahead. But a lot of people do it. I have financed plenty of stupid things before. When I was 20 I financed a couch. (It was a nice couch) Believe me I have done plenty of dumb things with money. But at 40 I can look back and say I should not have done some things because they were not in my best interest. Hope that helps.
