  1. Is there a Walmart next door? There’s lots of people with shit stains walking around there. Maybe that’s the reason. They just had to throw poop at TH next door and now they need another Mountain Dew.
  2. There are a bunch of beginner AK videos on YouTube. I think Iraqveteran8888 has a good one. From what I remember the main concern is if the receiver is stamped or milled with the preferred being milled. The most common caliber is 7.62x39 but there is also 5.45x39 and 223. Right now 7.62x39 seems pretty easy to find and is about the same price as cheap 223/556. The 7.62x39 has similar ballistics to the 30-30 but usually the cases are steel so some ranges won’t let you shoot it and it’s not easily reloadable. I think Century sells a lot of basic models for the $500 to $600. They are fine for most folks just looking to plink. After that you can spend as much as you want on accessories or upgrades. Or figure out a set goal and build one and price individual components. Typical magazines are 30 rounds but they make bigger and smaller ones too. The military surplus metal ones seem to do better than a lot of the cheap plastic ones. Aim Surplus is a good source for those. Good luck.
  3. No both are sold. I forgot about the thread. Please close.
  4. My dad had a bunch at his house. It’s several years old so I’m not sure how good it is but it’s yours if you want it. But you have to come get it in the next 2 weeks. It’s near Cleveland Avenue and 161.
  5. Clay, My son has one very similar and loves it. Just make sure when you measure to watch for the ceiling fan if you have one. It made placement options a little limited in my sons room.
  6. Will the lava cars be the new flood cars next year? “Salvage title with minor lava damage”
  7. These cars are so cool when done up right. Love the first gen firebirds. Good luck with sale. I hope someone brings her back to life. The Springfield swap meet is in a few weeks and it’s usually pretty big. If you have a trailer it might be worth a shot.
  8. Bump this will be a good weekend for yard work. Or....relive you’re favorite scene from Fargo with wood of course.
  9. Selling a Hustler Zero Turn 36” deck mower and a Craftsman Chipper. I just used the ZT today to mow the grass and it runs great. CL links for both are below. Prices on CL are $1,200 for the ZT and $150 for the Chipper but will do better for CR. Will also do partial or full trade for guns. Thanks for looking. https://columbus.craigslist.org/grd/d/craftsman-4hp-chipper-shredder/6574497586.html https://columbus.craigslist.org/grd/d/hustler-36-zero-turn-lawnmower/6574497413.html
  10. I like everything but the Oprah tits. The car is sexy AF. Oprah is not.
  11. I do all of those but 40. I’ll let you know the next time I have a casting day. The hotter the weather the better. Since you need heat, a hotter day makes casting and melting easier. I’ll set up my pots and molds and you’re Welcome to try your hand as casting.
  12. Ryan, If you want to learn to cast let me know. Depending on what calibers you want to cast it will be a long time before you “save” any money. But assuming you want to do it.... First find some smaller independent mechanics or shops to buy wheel weights. They will be mixed so plan on spending time sorting. Stay away from big names and don’t be surprised when you get told no. Get an empty five gallon bucket and keep it in your car. In my experience the shop will sell you the weights but not the buckets. Plan to just switch yours for theirs. You will need some cast iron cookware and a heating source. Check CL for a propane camping stove. Walmart will have cast iron skillets and pots. You will need some ladles and slotted spoons Get a good pair of dyke pliers to bite the weights and only melt the lead. Harbor Freight has cheap respirators and a set of welding gloves. You will want to do two steps. Weights to ingots. Then ingots to boolits. Plan on going to Fin Feather and Fur in Ashland. It’s about an hour north but they have the best selection of casting molds, lead pots etc. If you want to powder coat the boolits afterwards, check CL for a cheap toaster oven. HF also has powder coat and I’ve had good luck with red. There’s lots more but that’s part of your shopping list. Let me know if you want help.
  13. The main downside to bullpup conversions is it moves the trigger forward so you have some sort of a bar and hook device going back to the original trigger. They look awesome but the downside is the triggers on the bullpup usually are not as crisp as traditional. But it does give you another reason to buy a 2nd, 3rd or 4th 10-22. With all the options it easy to have the same rifle in lots of different configurations.
  14. This is another stock option to consider. The reason I like it is because it can change with the rifle. There is an insert so you can use the factory or a bull barrel. The length of pull is adjustable as is the cheek height. https://www.magpul.com/products/hunter-x-22-stock-ruger-10-22 For the money the Ruger BX trigger is a good upgrade but for about the same you can get upgraded parts from Brownells. If you’re going to shoot from a bench get some Ruger 15 round mags if you can find them. Sometimes the 25 rounders stick down too far. Either way stick with the Ruger mags. For the scope 3x9 is great. For the money I put a Cabelas scope on mine. It was about the same price as Nikon, a little cheaper than Leupold and has done fine. Good Luck
  15. Ok call or text me. I’ll be at the house for a few hours. 614-216-0567
  16. Ryan, I just text you. It’s been sitting for a long time. Assume the tank will need to be cleaned, the carbs (4) will need cleaned and reset. It will need tires, a battery and oil change. So depending on if you do it or have it done it’s a few hundred at least. But worst case for less than 2k you can have a running low mileage bike. It’s a honda and I’ve seen these go to 50k miles. Hope that helps. You’re welcome to come check it out. David
  17. Thanks Steve. Thanks. Bump for a good weekend to buy a project. I took the front caliper off and it’s free. It rolls nicely now.

    Sig Sauer

My advice is to go put your paws on a bunch of different guns and see what fits you. Sig makes great guns but for your purpose I would still consider others. Sometimes the best compact gun for you is made by one company and the best full size is a different brand. As far as weapon mounted accessories, they add a lot of weight and cost. Find someone with one and carry it. Take it to the range and shoot it. The holster selection is also limited. If it’s what you want, go for it but just realize accessories add weight and complicate concealed carry. As alternative a gunsmith can modify your existing XDM for a RMR sight. Plus the consensus seems to be 40 is on its way out. As a SHTF, 40 May be a good one to keep. And there is always a good reason to have another gun. The best advice is whatever you decide, train with it. Carry it, shoot it and practice inside you house with whatever accessory you choose. Good luck
  19. The CL link is below with pictures. The biggest issue right now is the front brake caliper is locked so the front wheel doesn’t turn. I’ll fix that this weekend. I rode this in college a few times in the early 2000’s and that may have been the last time it was ridden. I didn’t put it in the CL add but I’ll also do a partial or full trade for firearms if you have something interesting like a garand or Mauser etc. Thanks for looking. https://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/d/84-honda-magna-v45-super-low/6557511827.html
  20. Third gens are going up in value and clean ones are hard to find. Plus there are tons that have an LS swap. I’ve thought about doing that myself. GLWS!
  21. Clay your welcome to everything. The mowers are near Cleveland Ave and 161. The wheel weights and rotors are at my house in Worthington. The two locations are 3 miles apart. I’ll be there all day tomorrow.
  22. My dad has two Lawn Boy push mowers stacked up in his shed. I don’t know if they are complete or if they run. They are free if someone will pick them up. There is also a B&S motor in the garage that’s loose if you want it too. Fix them up, make them a go-cart or sell them for scrap. If you go the scrap route let me know and I’ll add a couple hundred pounds of steel wheel weights and brake rotors. Thanks
  23. Very nice. Can’t wait to see it.
  24. Forest Park. Cleveland Ave and 161 area.
