Stampede to Burr Oak State park May 19th, 2012

Looks like Truckin and his stangs will be trying to meet up with us at Burr Oak, that will be around 40-50 Mustang rolling into Burr Oak -
Besides that, if you have a complaint start sending email voicing your concern. Every time it's messed up I let both the managers know. If your at the track go speak up, I do. As a paying customer, they should know when the customer is unhappy. IMHO if your not letting them know whats wrong your part of the problem. That is not meant to make anyone mad, but if you went to burger king and they put a whooper in your bag and you ordered a chicken sandwich you would let them know right. It's not great tasting, think thats why everyone cuts it into apple pie or some peach in a mason jar. The apple pie, and peach I pick-up are not cut from everclear, and it's all so smooth..

Your right so is 70 west coming into buckeye lake area from Zaneville they make there loop and all the staties are on the west bound off ramp for the rest area then they dart out and pull you over right before the on ramp for rest area.. I see people putting the hammer down and when I approach that area on a nice day I scan the sky first. It's like a blue red flashing light parade.

There's area between columbus and cincy they hit heard with aircraft and when you peak over the horizon you will a boatload of cruiser handing out paper to lighten your pockets. If you see an aircraft running in line with or near the highway heading down better check that speed..

Be interested to see what comes along, is it really the nhra at NTR or is it the jacked up management at NTR.. I know pacemakers at the end of last year made upgrades to meet nhra rules, they had to add some fence or something like that.

Wagner they have that Drag racing league, I don't think it's nhra. It's really becoming popular. Yes, he told me that he needs more money from California. I asked him when he was going to figure things out, and that was his response. This was on Friday night, he was out there taking track temps and sprayed just a little bit of VHT. I was standing near water box when he was heading back in to tower and that is what he said.

I put the cam in, if they were not lined up that would have chewed the gears correct? The cam gear has no marks on it and I drained oil once and there were no shavings are anything that would suggest gears grinding or not being lined up. I can see the cam gear and it looks fine. If the gears your talking about are the double roller timing set. I'm like 99% percent sure that they are lined up with the timing dimples. It will be the last thing we check if we cannot figure it out, to avoid pulling timing cover off.

Runs same with it in or out, the spout just closes the cicuit or makes it complete so the electrics know what do after that. The balancer is 50 oz that was blanaced to 28oz by Watson Ruppel. I'm gonna check and mark true TDC tomorrow hopefully. The key way is not broken, just came back from shop anything not in working order has been replaced, some items in working order were replaced for after market ones. It run no different on stock Distru compared to MSD both run the same. After I mark true TDC on the balancer by taking the compression stroke to piston stop make mark, then reverse direction to piston stop to get the exhaust stroke mark divide the distance and mark True TDC then set balancer to mark and see whats up. If still the same we are probably out 180 or the timing cover will have to come off to verify that timing marks are lined up when on true TDC. If all is well all over we back to searching. After RL mentioned a piston stop. I found a guy with 2 351 ford mustangs on youtube he shows you how he made a piston stop how to mark it and talks about the old stock balancers shifting or wearing out there rubber noise damping do hickey lol. He said until he mark True TDC on his balancer he could not get his car to run correctly and was giving him headaches. Video above didn't relaize link was jacked, i fixed it. very interesting and I have to give +100 to RL ..

That's really cool, it's to late for my car little rock from trucks on highway and setting in water box colleting small debris from cars launching in front of me have given me some pretty decent chips

It's hitting them hard, the operations manager told me he needs more money from California can only assume that means fromt the NHRA, if they would stop running it with a chip on their shoulder and be polite. If they would put out a one night street racing heads up style, with some street car friendly indexs they coudl use that money to get soem things done. Edgewater is averaging 2000+on thursdays or more I expect that to go up after school lets out. Last year I watched the NMRA guy tell them they needed to treat people better, guy was trying too get tow truck in to tow his broke car and gate was throwing a fit about it.. saying the guy whos car was broke making a run when need to pay again to come in the gate after he walked out the gate to meet tow truck guy.

With big event @ edgewater on Thursdays and drag way 42 hitting a cool Saturday night street race and 100mph club, it has caught up to them. I had an email exchange with NTR today. He just blows it off, as no big deal. It won't be long now and I think we will all be almost 2 hours to race, but this could be avoided. If it is sold someone will need to clean house..

Chad and Josh, two of the guy with me last week both said it was not even close to being busy. Chad goes everyweek. They typically limit to 3 passes and I have seen just two passes, before. If they have time before elims start though it's open game

I had two people tell me about only 20 to 30 cars raced last night. They were both there and racing in big dog and street. That's why I was wondering.

We picked up MSD, because we had same issue with the stock one. It's either the balancer or perhaps we are 180 out I don't think it's 180 out, but it still could be a possibility.

Yes we thought we had and pulled pill to make final tweak, put pill back in and it was no good. I'm going to check balancer tonight or tomorrow, this guy has a great video on using a piston stop and marking your balancer for a new tdc or 0 degree mark. Gonna set tdc on comp stroke mark balancer then reverse till it hits stop again mark that mark divide the distance and mark a new TDC unless of course it is the current mark then I will continue on with that mark.

My tq number was very close to the mustang dyno i was on i had 399 on mustang dyno at john muziks in bremen. Still scratching head a little if tq is pretty much the same why 50 something hp difference between the dynojet and mustang. I did drive an 1 and like 15 minutes, I got out they backed it on made two aborted runs their machine was acting up then it recorded last pass which was 408.66, I'm not disappointed, just wondering how TQ was dang near identical, yet hp was down from 462 to 408. 53 hp, any thoughts anyone. Was heat soak the culprit?

I may try to come up and get some passes in, not sure though been working on 93 lx notch every night. Still need to get shift light in my 2011 installed, finally found right instructions i think more research needed
