That would be funny, or people shoudl just fill the lanes up for a staging lane flash mob and let them deaal with what ever is in the lanes.

I had choose Exedy, before I spoke to him. I had to call him and get a new shift ball something came lose in mine and rattled so know I have a black one instead of white and we got to talking about the cars and I was in the middle of a clutch install, so he was telling me about his trip to the track with the McLeod
-
Fire, Why did you replace yours for did you wear it out or just wanted a better clutch? Was it for a new 5.0 Mustang?
-
That's just what he told me, my Exedy is solid, but I will test it properly. I made well into 150+ passes on the stock clutch with 5k dumps most of last year on a drag radial. I will see how good the Exedy holds up, that's for sure.

If I didn't have to be at work I would hot lap my 2011 if that's what you mean. I have hit a few Friday Street fights that were ghost towns last year and I made around 15 to 20 passes, sometimes making 5 or 6 in a row towards the end.

Should have been saw perhaps, whatever. Are you an English Major?

Hey, I saw that CR ran a bracket, at Import Face-off last August. How did it go piggy backing on their event?
-
Well, I hope to see you there in your Stang.

I pulled an enclosed trailer, from Perry County to Chillicothe to pick up kitchen cabinets, on a very windy night, with damp roads. The road down there has some serious hills, the truck did awesome and never felt like it needed more power to break the head wind and pull the enclosed trailer, nor did it do so once I piled in the kitchen cabinets. If I needed a truck that would be the truck for me. Good thing I can borrow that if I need.

Superchips, just had one featured on Gearz they had a black f-150. Then modded it Heart throb cat-back air raid CAI Superchip tuner , the red ones I typically see truck owners have. http://staceydavid.com/episodes/boosting-ford-eco-boost-buffing-nasty-paint-back-life

I spoke to the guy at Barton shifters while upgrading my clutch in my 2011 GT/CS, he went Mccleod twin disc. It didn't make one pass before it had serious failure. They replaced it for him no charge, but it was to late he went with Exedy. I already had Exedy picked before I heard that, I was glad I choose Exedy, with a Exedy racing flywheel. It's best to get a brand new flywheel, if your getting a a brand new made for racing clutch. I know it is a choice, but you will know that the run-out is good, but still check. Keep your old one and have it resurfaced as a back-up and store it in a medium coat of grease.

I agree I have spent a lot of time at the track in Clarkseville, TN and they did an awesome jobs with there lanes. I also really enjoy the way Mt. Vernon, Ohio handles their lanes.

Here is the exact email he sent me when I asked why is it so hard to run the staging lanes in some order that allows the same amount of passes to everyone as everyone has paid $15 dollars. I asked him if he thought the other classes were more valuable then the street cars that typically fill up the lanes of Friday night and TnT and typically the largest class on Wed Night as well. He had nothing to say really except beat around the bush. I think that they are still thinking that hey it's here and they will come. The lack of change there is why they have lost the big events to Norwalk. NTR has not done anything, but suck money in on min effort, although they did replace the concrete launch pad early last year. Chris Stilwell Add to contacts To rick m I think by running the Street lanes twice in the rotation, this will help. One of the issues (and it is just something you have to deal with on T&T days and is no way a "slam" on some Street racers) is that those in the Street lanes make a run and return right back to the lanes in a NASCAR-type lap format. Calling up a class to run a session and cleaning them out before the next class would be great, but this lap format that some use would make it tough to know when the line ends and when to get the next class going. By going Street - Slick - Street - Motorcycle - Junior in order right now, we hope to keep the line of Street moving quicker by going twice in each session to the other groups once. And this may not be the 100% answer, but I think we both would agree that it appears on our computer monitors to be a better plan of attack than what was tried last T&T. We will see how it works out (weather permitting & fingers crossed) Sunday.

He told me in email that they were going to try to run street cars twice to every one time of big cars or far lane, jr drags, and cycles. TnT this spring has been huge I think, because the weather was so nice so early, so everyone was ready to hit the track. However, this is not an excuse for the management of the track, as i continues to go down hill.

Import Faceoff coming to Columbus 2x's next year
TheMustangStampede replied to DaddyBuiltRacing's topic in Track is Crack
I shall be there with the Mustang CLass Racing -
I hate to say it, but they have got to get with the A game. If there was another 1/4 mile in central Ohio, they would be sellling that track. I have been talking to Chris about long lines and how it seems that certain lanes get more passes, yet everyone paid 15 dollars. Hope they figure it out soon, he told me they were trying something new today, but it doesn't sound like it worked. I will have to email him and let him know that we are still unhappy with the waiting and I will throw in that they need to have the sensors looked at.

Total of 4 cars commited, to racing next Sunday, anyone else in I have 2 or 3 that are maybes.

This is just to clarify that I need 10 to 12 Mustangs or more, not that I wanted only 10-12 model years. I had a message this morning and someone thought that it was for only model year 10-12. So, I just want to let people know I'm looking for Mustangs of all years. I'm not a fan-boy of only on year or body style. I still want to keep this in the 11.5 and up e.t. though. Please don't delete this thread as a duplicate. If need be please change the title of the other post. To match this title. Thanks, TheMustangStampede

What kind of power you talking? Have you ever heard of the t5 boom. I have a friend who goes through these thing like candy and there is always a boom. His stang's are rarely ever stock though, so that could be the problem.

Had the guy at Bob Summerel tire E. Broad ST. scratch my wheel on my 2011 GT/CS he said take it to them and I will pay the bill. I was impressed with his honesty most places would have let you drive off, leaving you scratching you head as to what happened to the wheel he pointed out the scratch, said he was very sorry and made it right. It looked much better, and only I know which wheel was worked on. I plan on taking another wheel to them here soon.
