  1. It looks the fucking same, are you serious lmao. You must not like all the ladies that come in and out of there huh...
  2. Sounds like a used Audi a4 to me... Turbo, awd, not sure of bluetooth. is a sedan..
  3. The timing pointer has not been changed, I will also look to see if there are 2 ways to put pointer in... What should it be 10 or 11? Who do you know which one is right or wrong.
  4. Ok we will check, the balancer to a stock 50 oz blancer, we will line up the key ways and see if the marks are correct if not we will have to fab up some marks with fine sharpie or something. We will also check TDC with the timing pointer and TDC on balancer. We even thought about the balancer marks being off early in the day, because we were stumped. As to why this is happening? We are like 99% percent sure we didn't put chain set on wrong.
  5. You lol out loud, but if DFAS would take you for a 12, you would be gone and take it with a smile.
  6. Please don't laugh we used a small rod, as a piston stop. TDC on the balancer meaning the 0 mark on balancer or should it be marked as TDC
  7. Thanks, man Dave was also very nice and professional and will help you sort out your build and parts to use for application. Also like Nickey said he went by DR. Watson, or something like that and has a boat load of trophy's for his camaro. His son works with him and he has a sick looking camaro to run this year, it's white. Nickey we have trouble with a timing on that build, can you look over at my post in tech and see if you can shed any light for us thanks
  8. Thanks rl let my try to clear it up some more. We are stumped this is motor rebuild number 7 or 8 for between me and two guys helping me and this is my dads first. All others you get it within range where it runs and idles, by using well know common practice module pointed to front corner of battery, and button towards #1 when TDC. Start it get a light on it adjust it then pull pill and ensure everything is still same if so tighten down bolt and insert pill. Every other motor was fine doing this, this motor not so much.. Afterwards we have needed to adjust rocker arms and set base idle, but this motor is being difficult Yes we had top dead center and yes we have used the light we can get it to run without intake pop, but if it's way off the timing mark so we can not pop the the pill back in and be done with it. We are on using number 1 cyclinder for TDC. When you say mark TDC, we have two marks we have one on the distru to id #1 electrode. We also have a timing mark on balancer.
  9. WE used WRP Watson Ruppel in Sarahsville. We had 2300 dollars in parts and labor... block got the works new main bearings clevite, new cam bearing clevite, Reman rods w/ARP bolts, bead blaster outside, bored to 306, honed, he check bore line and all these specs I never heard of, lol new brass freeze plugs, floating pin on new forged icon pistons, new scat steel crank, balanced piston, crank, and rods think this is bob weight, had .002 grams balance front to rear, new 28 oz harmonic balancer, 28 oz flexplate, think crank was 30 oz and he had to drill some weight out of it. With all the parts and work he did I don't think 2300 was to much Could go to garage and list everything but you get the idea, he is very very busy, but turn around was not bad, very organized shop, I was impressed with there method and layout, and how they keep you part in a tub and what not.
  10. Brand new MSD Distributor, it's not one tooth off. We are getting ready to pull the front off and re check to make sure the dimples timing marks are lined up when motor is TDC. It was an after market double roller set which had keeper slots all the way around we think that this may be culprit. I know it's not 180 out, because you could swap wires on the distributor and test that. Fuel pressure is good so it's not a lean condition. It's 41 when key is on then it settles at 39. My buddies car had this problem and his fuel pump was going out, causing it to be lean. They say that if you have a pop while running it is about 22 degrees out of time or so (WE DO) but it can be less or more depending on twisting the distru. If you have intake pop when trying to start you have 180 degrees out which could be solved by moving you wires on distributor. We think it's like one keeper over on the timing chain set. But not sure how or why, other then 4 people talking while working. I mean anyone who has tore one down knows TDC on # 1 line your timing marks dimples with each other install keeper and bolt cam and crank down to tq spec. We are beyond frustrated and this just has to be the problem. if it's not I will be asking for help again. I have a feeling that we have ruled out all other possible issues. We have pulled distru and made sure that it's on the right tooth multiple times. Last thing to check is timing marks, I actually hope that whoever placed them on had it a keeper over. I didn't mess with that I was actually doing something else at the time. Thanks for the reply, I will update in a few days, we all taking a break from it, for a day or two.
  11. Alright, when the car is in time with timing light, it won't run very well. Adjust it till it's out of time and it run like it should. Can anyone point to a possible cause. We started thinking about the timing marks on the balancer, because it's a 28 oz instead of a 50 oz, however it was balanced at the machine shop and to like .002 gram or something. We made sure we got the right plugs for the gt-40 x head they call for a specific plug, we pulled intake then the valve covers and rechecked all the rockers and the rods everything is in order there. We plan on checking fuel pressure next. When it's running rough and hard to idle, it will backfire or pop in the inake. That point to a timing issue. However with the light and the timing mark it's good, it run's best out away from the timing mark..
  12. When ever you at the track and you see my car and want me to get one or two of your runs let me know that way my camera lady / my wife knows who to film.. This is the link to the playlist..
  13. bumping I need to move these wheels, anyone want to make an offer at least. May do much smaller cash with trade for a fully loaded up Go Pro Hero 2
  14. He needed a change of drawers after that save. Probably had to pry fingers off grips..
  15. I know they run on Sat and Sun. That's is probably why they get more passes on Friday. All, I'm saying is that if everyone payed 15 bucks on Friday everyone gets the same amount of passes on Friday.. NTR has more than enough street cars and bikes to have Street only night
  16. Towards the end of the night, this may have been true. He was not running the street lane all the way down though. There were plenty of street mustang my wife had a hard time keeping track of which one were with are group as they were all red for the most part. You right we can all hit that lane up with drag radials. Perhaps that's what I will do I could bring up possibly 10 cars from my neck of the woods we all have slicks or drag radial and we can just crowd that lane up to then they will, seriously not know what to do. Talked to some guys last night up making a few trips north for Saturday night street racing at dragway 42. It's not such a big deal about the passes it's the way they blame the NHRA for no funds, the guy even told me the reason they were getting more passes is because the classes had less people. They really need two people to work the staging lanes. One in the rear and one in the front. That way they can clear the lanes down then the guy in the rear can reload them once that pair of lanes clear out.
  17. We are having a Ford Mustang Cruise to Burr Oak from 1280 State Route 93, which is just few hundred feet North of, Hunter's Run 800 State Route 13 SE, Crooksville, OH We will be traveling down Ohio 13 to Burr Oak we will be taking lunches and hanging out and photo taking at Burr Oak. We will then take one of the best cruise roads in Ohio, st rte 555. I see all types of motorcycle, and cars at Hunters Run heading toward 555. I have also seen the camo, test mules from Detroit stopping to refuel there and they were heading to 555. I understand for most of the Mustang guys from Columbus it's quite a haul to drive some more and eat/talk/photo then drive some more. Just thought I would invite any Mustangs looking for something to do this Saturday, May 19th leaving staging area at 10am towards Burr Oak. Let me know if you would like to come down and cruise with us. I drive to Columbus everyday the staging area is about an 1hr and 10 minutes away if traffic is okay.
  18. Heard that, oh well, I will just keep voice it to them. Hopefully they sell the track and new owner cleans house, they are typically rude to the customer as well.
  19. Here is a photo of my car strapped in to the Easy Street dyno..They were a nice group of guys. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=737&pictureid=6148 I won $50 gift card and two t-shirts from JEGS for having the highest HP street car at the event that day. Not sure how many showed up that were winners of the free dyno pull. I laid down 408.66 hp and 390 ft lb tq. I just beat out a 403 hp challenger by 5 HP

  21. Nice to meet you at the Track DK, we took up seven Mustangs from the sticks of Perry county. The track was not great, typical. Corvette hit the wall on the big end, last run of the night. The guy at staging lanes told me the reason he was sending bikes, jrs, and open headers/slick/bigdog cars, was they had less people. What the that's not good business practice. He tells me the same thing every time I ask, why are they making more passes then us. They have less, I would tend to ensure that the I took care of paying customers equally, and def wouldn't give pref. to a class that has the least amount of paying customers.
  22. Dear NTR, Please, please, and please give us a weekly street event like this same rules and format
