  1. What's better then one old shitty ranger rover. Well two of course. Picked this guy up last night as a parts truck. It has the nicer interior and its non abs as I want to convert mine to non abs. Plus it has better wheels and all the small parts I will search for made more since. It runs and drives but has rod knock. It also has been converted to the 4.6. So I will rebuild it and swap in. Wife made me get a storage unit yesterday to store parts and cars lol Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk
  2. So much better with the brush guard removed. Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk
  3. Here's a good article. You can read more on them as well https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.gq.com/story/how-to-buy-a-classic-range-rover/amp
  4. That isn't a classic. That's a p38 range rover. Classics are going up in value right now. They stopped making range rover classics in 1995. P38 rovers have absolutely tanked in value. They will not come back up. And when I say classic I'm not speaking of older range rovers its literally called a range rover classic
  5. I want a truck as well to tow cars and haul stuff. Let me know what you find and passover. As I may want one
  6. Thanks man. I just enjoy wrenching on cars. Half the rover interior is stripped. Going to remove everything including dash to clean
  7. Perhaps thus changes your mind. This thing has no rust. The floor pans are like new but original Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk
  8. The guy had no idea what he had number one. It fires right up and drives. It need a new abs pump and it needs an alternator belt. After that I'll do full fluids flush and refill. Other then that its solid. My plan for this is basic. Remove safari grill Rewrwp headliner in suede. Install ome 2" lift springs New abs pump and alternator belt Install modern speakers and Bluetooth head unit Flush fluids. Full interior detail Install new exterior driver door handle. List it on being a trailer
  9. Cleaned her up before bringing home. She cleaned up really well Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk
  10. I don't smoke, I don't drink and I hate the outdoors. Alaska sounds like a blast
  11. Correct the 43k one was rare but clean rust free ones bring good money. My target price is 9-15k when I sell. I bought it for $750 Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk
  12. Just noticed. Those are my interior pics from this car. Those are interior pics from a different One I looked at
  13. I scored this Range Rover Classic today. These things are going up in value like crazy at the moment. A local one just sold for 43k. This thing is CLEAN. No rust at all. Motor started right up and it drives nice. It needs brakes but this isn't an issue and it needs a serious cleaning. Best of all. A one owner with 100k miles. I took my middle girl who is totally a car person like me and she loved it. I've wanted another rover and now I have one. Frame is solid and set up tow so I needed a off road vehicle so I can get a boat this year. I'm so stoked about this. My car collection is finally where I want it to be. 14. We did get a balcony
  15. I've done resorts in Costa rica, panama and hawaii. I'm not a resort person. Plus I spend a stupid amount of time in hotels travelings. I've never been on a cruise before. We both want to cruise. I picked the grand turk route this trip. We shall see how it goes
  16. I would hate that honestly. In fact she suggested that and I voted it down. I'm a busy body and being inn the same place for 5 days would suck.
  17. Wife and I are raking our first vaca together. We travel multiple times a Month but with clients never alone. In 5 years we have never taken a vacation together. I've narrowed down a cruise from ft Lauderdale 5 days. Nassau, grand turk and some other Bahama island or a cruise leaving Tampa to key west then Havana Cuba for two days. It overnights in Cuba.
  18. Full turbo back exhaust ready to go on. Also inlets moved from driver side to passenger side. Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk
  19. Welp both the inlets front and rear and got it ready to be pit back together. The rear turbo was warrantied out by BMW at some point as it looks new compared to front turbo. Even has new hardware.
  20. Everything I've read since I haven't touched any suspension components no alignment is needed. Obviously if I have issues I'll have it aligned.
  21. Well spent 2 hours on the car tonight. Dropped the subframe. Pulled stock downpipes and front turbo inlet. Tomorrow I'll tackle the rear inlet and then prep everything for install. Bonus pic of all the boxes of parts for this car. Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk
