The inner and outer CV boots are torn ansnthe joints are dangling. Surprised I made it home from Detroit as bad as they were. Going to put the bolt at 6 o'clock position and try getting vise grips on it. I really do not want to tackle this.

Haven't had time to try and extract it anymore. I'm going to try vise grips after work tonight and if that doesn't work I'm going to dremel it off.

So I got VCG and cam plugs done before I took it to Detroit. No burning oil smell and car ran flawless on the way up.

The jb4 for the BMW are in the ecu box under the cowl. No way its visible.

He declined which I expected but his car needs a block which I have a good motor. Instead of buying his car I sold him an engine and labor to install it for $2100. So it still turned out to be a win

Went down to Kentucky and picked this up from a couple moving to Colorado. It was the husbands daily driver until 7 months ago. It just sat once the front bags went flat. Between the air suspension repair and brakes there mechanic wanted $3000 to repair. They decided to just get rid of it. Last year it has had new turbos put on, new ICM and coil packs and a bunch of other maintenance. I offered $800 and they accepted. They just wanted it gone. So I towed it home and got to work. Converting to A6 suspension to get rid of air. Downpipes and forge diverter valves, silicone turbo hoses all around and a APR tune. Also replacing valve cover gaskets. That's first round of stuff. I'm trying to find a complete o1e 6 speed swap and will go KO4's at that time. The green car that's lowered is the suspension I bought and that's how it will sit. Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk

Hey How would you graciously back out of a car deal. Found a car I really want, checked it out and liked it. I didn't really try and haggle price seller offered to drop a couple hundred I said sure. This was Tuesday. I've spent hours researching and finding parts it needs and I'm not sold on it now. It will appreciate and be more value able but the deal doesn't work numbers wise right now for me. I feel like an ass askingngor a cheaper price but unless he is willing to drop more I have to walk away. So CR dudes how would you handle it?
