  1. Never really liked any of their cars and even the FR-S I'm indifferent on. They just feel very cheaply built and not fun to drive or own. Very bland interior, lacking of fancy amenities IMO. I know it's not a luxury brand, but it would be nice for some good options.
  2. Not really. You get burnt out on the stuff really easy lol Looks really clean. Rust free and straight bodys make life lots easier.
  3. I remember when I was a faggot and wanted to be Instagram famous....oh wait, that was never.
  4. I've done a lot, haven't got many pics though. New dash is in, just troubleshooting loads of electrical gremlins on the body side of things. No turn signals, brake lights stuck on, no headlight relay click. Few other things. A friend of mine works with his father at their family's aerospace machine shop. I worked out a deal with him involving some mint rare trim pieces from my 1992, in turn he made me some billet mounts and made me some brackets. These are pretty sweet to me, figured some on here would like do see what all goes into something like this. I feel almost like a dick for asking for them now that I know how much really goes into them. Probably just another day for him, this would take me weeks and not look anywhere near it. 5. Triple because it's Saturday
  6. If she's pissed About a tool bill which allows you to make more money eventually either A. The field isn't for you B. She isn't for you Also why would you let anyone tell you when to do anything. I started at Nissan having no dealership experience, had very little knowledge of the brand, couldn't tell you what was a Murano, Rogue or juke without first looking for the name on the car. I wasn't there long but I started doing the basics, LOF, balance and rotates, and before I left 7 or 8 months later I was doing 3 or 4 CVT's a week and throwing headgaskets on stuff and doing whatever came through the door. Did I get burned and lose my ass on some stuff? All the time at first. Did I learn anything? Lots. But it wasn't by being apprehensive and hesitant to do something I wasn't comfortable with. How do you think you are going to learn it? Just by doing oil changes and tires for the next 5 years and magically have the knowledge? Just go in balls deep, fuck Shit up and learn how it works. Mistakes are sometimes the best way to learn. I still run into stuff now that Ive never done before, just take it in stride, think critically and do your best. Now is the time to learn while.you are hourly. Not 4.5 years from now when said boss quits and the next guy comes in and cuts you loose because you have been on the lube rack for half a decade.
  7. I don't know the first thing about diesel other than it doesn't have a spark plug and that propane is like NAWS. No I'm not going to school to learn it, if I do return to school otd be to leave the mechanic field.
  8. Prolly because it is back breaking work and get covered in the nasty every day lol
  9. Good luck getting some job with those hours in the auto industry.
  10. You can have my job at my work when I quit lol
  11. If we are sharing...here are a few of mine from before I was with my woman now (not from Tinder lol) First time I used it I just was wasted living on campus, just swiped right on everything, didn't care. Got a match on the first one like 30 seconds into using the app. Messaged her with the address of the party we were at, she showed up in like 15 minutes. Had some massive titties, I ended up getting her to flop em out in front of everyone at the party multiple times. Decided not to fuck after that lol A few weeks later got some sorority chick, ended up meeting up at Chumlee's and we both got wasted. Went over to her sorority house, stayed the night, woke up in her (I assume) roommates bed with her roommate in it and Tinderella gone... Had no clue where I was for about 30 minutes and ended up sprinting around the 3rd floor of this place until I figured out where the stairs were, then bolted out the front door and sprinted from 15th ave. all the way back to my place on Norwich. We ended up being pretty good friends, still not sure if I fucked either her or her roommate that night. From there on out it was typical chipotle dates or just late nights talking and drinking out on my porch. Actually met some pretty cool chicks on there, this was before it turned into a hoe fest I think, if there ever was a time like that. Got a few one nighters from it, somehow ended up down off East Livingston to boink a chick one night, she had a dude for a roommate and didn't know his name and he didn't speak english and only stayed there like 2 or 3 times a week. He walked in on us on the kitchen counter....that was awkward

  13. My cheapo craftsman with interchangeable heads will remove lugs up to like 110ish lb ft
  14. My brushless Dewalt will remove properly torqued lug nuts up to 150 lb lbs. Caliper bolts it likely won't do. It works great for tight engine work, coils, valve covers, sensors, etc.
  15. Who cares. Just a person trying to make an extra buck or two. Pretty sly IMO. That person likely still has to clean up the mess your son made when making his ice cream.
  16. Thanks for opening up, Doc. I appreciate it as I'm sure everyone else does.
