    I'd be very tempted if I were you. I'd also gladly help/watch, lol. I'm no small electronics wizard, but I get into more than my fair share on elevators.

     

    Worst case scenario is, we gut it, make it light up, and install your Bluetooth inside it.

    Tear it apart Clay! I'm sure you and YouTube can fix it. Honestly, if it fires up and sound comes out, it might not be that bad to repair. Could just be a potentiometer on the volume knob, or maybe a small internal amp to replace....?

    Truck is shark looking. Not a fan of the old man chrome on it but it still looks good.
    Thanks, and I get that. I haven't fully decided what direction I'm going with this truck, but it will require some of the chrome being removed. I'm kinda over the fully blacked out look as well, so I have to find a happy medium. Does anyone know much about the shadow chrome look, a professional method?

    Interesting to hear everyone's opinions, I would assume there have been a lot of popup shops due to the hipster craze. I keep telling myself that I'm going to get one when I get my fat ass back in Shape. I probably need to just schedule something further out for a goal/motivation.

    M2 Competition showed up finally and I’ve started its protection program. Didn’t take as many pictures as I should have...was more focused on getting shit done. Still at least two days to go.

    Not sure what else I could have had you do, but I'm glad I went with everything, I definitely would have regretted leaving any piece out after seeing it. I don't even know what the next level would be??

    TAKE MY MONEY! LOL.

    Yeah, it definitely needs a little more room to run, the top end is more impressive out of a truck. I think it's in need of a Dyno fine and tranny tune for sure. Maybe an ls9 cam..... Who knows, lol

    True, but this is more of a long term detail with the paint protection, so I was glad to get it to Tim as soon as our schedules allowed.

     

    The results are pretty unbelievable. The paint feels so slick now, let alone the hydrophobic effects. I'm glad to have gone with the wheel and glass protection too, should make the painted wheels pretty hassle free.

    Ended up going 12.1 @112 with a 1.69 60'.

    Car is really coming along. That has to feel like you're flying in a fiero! Lol. Do you feel like there's much left in the current setup?

    Well tonight absolutely sucked.

     

    Pulled the radiator easy enough, no issues, easiest thing we've done yet on this car. Popped the coolant plug on the driver's side of the engine block and let it drain. Go to take out the knock sensor on the passenger side of the block to let the coolant drain and it shears off, leaving the thread stuck in the block. Like I said above, the knock sensor was broken and needed replaced, too.

    Hate to hear this, but don't get discouraged! The progress you guys have made so far is inspiring. It makes me feel like I should get off my lazy ass and finish some of the projects I've put off.

    I hope to do projects like this with my girls when they are old enough.

    What's left of the knock sensor? Enough to get ahold of, or maybe get something along the lines of an easy out into??

    That has to be a neat catch. Cool fish, and thanks for posting pics.
    Atlantic sharpnose. Hopefully I'll get into some more interesting catches this week. I switched late to a floater rig with some smaller size circle hooks. Definitely got more action on it in the rising tide.

    Hopefully I can spot the channels again on the incoming.

    What's the fight like with one of those guys?
    They fight pretty decent, this one broke the water 3 times. The problem is that typically you are using such a large surf pole, that it's hard to appreciate the fight.

    Got a couple hours in before high tide this morning. They were hitting like crazy, but I need to pick up some squid and smaller hooks. I was having trouble keeping shrimp on the hook.

    I wanted to! I was pissed because we got stuck on 77 for 2 hours in park. It's at 18 right now, so still not terrible considering it sat at 0 mph for almost 2 hours.

    Full disclosure, this is trying to get good mileage. My economy around town was at 13 because I drive it like an idiot, lol.

    Brian, we need to meet up at one of the events/cars and coffee. I'd like to drive the na 6.2 to compare. I was shopping for your truck, love the look.
