It couldn't have been better a experience dealing with you, Dean, and the whole Toyota West team.

We pulled a 1991 RX7 for a ungodly length of time back in college. Tires were extremely hot when done and even starting to chunk a little. But I'm wiser now than I was then
That's why we pull G8's in 3rd. With the stock 2.92 gears, 4th makes way too much wheel speed. And 4th is still less than 1:1. A tire fully loaded on the road acts much different than one on a dyno.
Are there any unmolested 1g or 2g Talon/Eclipses left out there? They are cheap and fun, but not necessarily reliable. Or a 3.8 supercharged or 5.3l impala/grand prix
I love Pacemaker for the atmosphere and laid back attitude. The track always seems to work for my car, but only 1/8 is a draw back. Thompson sucks ass, Quaker only cares about the guys with big money, took 4 hours to make 2 test n tune passes.
I seem to have lost my tape measure. Shell is 2 3/4 for reference

I've seen tuners/owners who run each and swear by it. I don't know that there is really any power to be made/lost on a NA setup assuming intake duct has the same flow SD vs MAF. Its my understanding that MAF can be trickier to tune especially with a big cam. My car has a LS7 MAF and the tuner didn't have much of an issue dialing it in.
Really all comes down to the tuner.
I've only been on here a short time, so I don't really know anyone or get the "inside" jokes. But I still enjoy reading the new posts that pop up.
If I see a topic where I can interject some semi-professional knowledge, I try. But for the most part I just sit back and take it all in.
I'm down in Zanesville and more than willing to help. But probably more of a drive than you are looking for. FWIW, have not heard good things about Capitol. Germain seems to have a decent rep from what I here.
