  1. The AWD Charger only came with the 5.7L HEMI, not the 392 (6.4L), but for what you want and the mileage you'll put on it, that would still get my vote. It checks all your boxes. They currently don't make the AWD with V8 anymore (2014 was the last year), only V6 now with AWD.
  2. I love the roominess (I'm 6'4", 275) and comfort of my Charger, the 392 HEMI also makes it not suck so much to commute in. They look good IMHO and have personality, too. I also considered the CTS-V back in 2014 when I was buying, but went with the Charger bc looks and price.
  3. Today, while I was at work, my son "helped" my father work on the rear drum brakes/emergency brake. It took me back to at time when I worked with my father and grandfather (R.I.P.) building a cabin in the Hocking Hills. Many great memories are being made with this build.

  4. ....that's not gonna buff out either ;)

    LOL.

Distracted driver? Looks like he wasn't paying any attention to the fact traffic was stopping ahead of him until the OH SHIT moment

Either that or he just can't see that far ahead anymore.

  5. I was finally able to get someone to fix the broken driver's seat in my '86 GT, Top Stitch in Plain City. Dude did a great job, even put more stuffing in the seat so it feels brand new. Plus I cut a new spare tire cover so the carpet lays flat in the trunk. I was also missing a bunch of interior screws, so I hit up Home Depot to replace those, that helped with some of the interior rattling. And I bought new trunk struts to help keep the trunk open, and fix the latch on the trunk, as it wasn't shutting correctly either. Still have a pile of little things to get to, but it's a start. Here's what she looks like now after the wash on Saturday:

    Looking good man!

  6. SUCCESS!!!

Had some time to work on it today. Got the windshield washer filter nut in and everything buttoned up there.

We added the coolant and burped the system, got the power steering fluid and diff fluid replaced. Also added some emergency hood release cables. Just in case the stock cable pops on this thing.

Went on a test drive and bedded the new brakes. Drives nice, much better than before.

We just want to get the weatherstrip done then take it for an alignment. Feels good to be winding down here.

Updated project list above in post #78.

My daughter is cleaning out the interior now:

  7. Where did you get those headlights? Project is rolling right along!

Thanks! Amazon, I think around $80 for the pair.

I wasn't too sure about the looks, but saw some great reviews about their performance. My daughter likes them bc they look Transformer-ish, which I think they kind of do too.
