I don't ban by IP for a few reasons. Namely, one time on Columbus Racing we banned an IP for threatening to shoot someone. Well low and behold, that user was posting from Columbus State Community College. There are only four outside IP addresses there. Guess where I happened to work at the time. So yeah... I don't ban IP addresses anymore.

Yup. Exactly. As much as I'd like to remove those words, it's best not to. Like Brian said, when people come bitching about us banning him, we can just point them to this thread.

When banned, all you see is the banned message. He can't view the posts unless he logs out, although this forum cannot be seen by guests. So no, he's not lurking/watching this thread. FYI.
