There's nothing in the rules against bashing a sponsor. However, it is wise to be 100% factual. Libel is a serious offense. I'm not saying you're lying or anything, just putting that out there. Independent Motorsports has always been good to folks on here. Have you called them about it?

If you say serial, some might think that can't be what they have. I could be mistaken on this, but I'm pretty sure. It's been a long time since I've messed with parallel/serial cables. A DB25 cable is generally a parallel cable (for printers, scanners, etc). A DB25 extension cable supports parallel and serial connections. So calling it a 25 pin serial cable could easily cause confusion and for someone to think it is not the same as a DB25 extension cable. FYI.

Other idea would be try a DB25 to USB cable. Just have to know if the dyno needs a male or female connector.

Just need to ask for a DB25 extension cable (male on one end, female on the other). I can't find anyone else local that might have them. Office Max and Staples both have them, but online only. It's an old technology not used anymore.
