138k miles. i've put around 7k on it in 2 years. this car is babied and only driven occasionally. mid to low 12's all day. $6,000 shoot me an offer
i know that in places like cali, vegas, and miami you can pretty much rent whatever. vipers, ferraris, lambos. you name it. but this is columbus, so it's doubtful.
i think the hardcore twistie guys have the skill graemlins/grin2.gif haha. i haven't heard of any of the guys who ride the twists with a passion go down yet. dragknee and i are scratchless. had the bike for almost a year and a half with no incident. but i do research the hell outta riding. like hours of just reading about proper race technique. maybe once i get my leathers this/next week i'll drop it
damnit ben! that sux. coulda been alot of things. but one that came to mind was your body position. since you thought you werent takin it that hard, did you slide over at all? even if it was oil, gravel, etc. you body position can be the dif. between savin it and a low side.
gonna ride some twisties here in a few. just got the PCIIIUSB installed yesterday, stupid rain wouldnt let me go out, so today i'm gonna ride the piss outta it.
damn kenny, that blows! Be safe everyone, i was worried about this when so many moto newbs got bikes. It's easy to get bit out there, and please everyone take the MSF class if you can.
wish i could, but i'm spendin too much gettin leathers and rearsets. i hope to do some at Grattan, Beaverrun and a few other places this fall. just gotta get the safety equip.
btw, you'll have a blast!! i cant wait to go to mine. keep the rubber side down.
i should be in. and ben, doesnt your bike have the bolts on the ends of the swingarm? if so that should be enough to pull it across the floor. otherwise you can use jackstands from your car one on each side of the swingarm
i was there at 530 or so i think. got myself some new alpinestar sp-1 gloves and the SMX3-plus boots. Damnest thing is i've already broke in the toe sliders!!
