yeah they are paying a lot, and its not for the cars. at every freakin track there are chevy/ford advertisements, chevy tents, ford demos etc etc etc. they have naming rights to races too... 'chevy rock n roll 400" or whatever it was at charolotte, or the "ford 400" at homestead. add in, like you said, TV spots during the race etc etc. all that shit adds up.

IMO the water heater uses more energy for sure. it has to heat X gallons of water. which takes longer and more energy than the stove heating 2 cups or whatever you are cooking with. honestly though, i think its a push, because your hot water heater would have heated that water regardless of whether you used it for a shower or cooking...

in all fairness, that coffee was 190 degrees and she got third degree burns from it. also, IIRC a mcdonalds corporate employee stated that they knew coffee that hot could cause third degree burns, but they had no intention of changing their practice. THATS what she got paid for. because they KNEW it was dangerous and they did it anyway. coffee is supposed to be hot. but not that hot.

yeah that is true. i have heard that shit before too. another thing that i remember about him... last year, i wanna say at atlanta, but i cant remember exactly. he was driving the shit out of his car... about 60 laps to go something broke and he was all pissed off calling the car a piece of shit etc etc... uhhh hello???? when you drive the fuckin wheels off of it, something is gonna break. you gotta take care of your equipment. conserve when you can, and drive it at the limit when you need to. he is just young though. once he gets a little older and more mature i think he will be better about that kinda stuff

i wear jeans and a t shirt or a long sleeve if its really cold, then i got my tourmaster caliber overpants which are pretty toasty even with the liner removed. if its really cold, i put the liner in. then my jacket with its liner in too. got some A* polar gloves that keep my fingers warm. i got a fleece skimask kinda thing to wear under the helmet if its really cold... sometimes thats the worst part. everything else is toasty but my face is freezing lol.
