i never put my bike totally away. in my experience, there is always at least one day per month where it gets up to about 50 degrees and you can ride.

they dont detect weight. there is a magnetic loop in the ground that detects the metal when a car comes across it. either call your city or ODOT, depending on who controls the light, and they will fix it.

i wish i could grow a beard. i havent shaved in like 2 weeks, and all i get is peach fuzz lol. but then again, i guess im lucky that i DONT have to shave every day or else turn into teen wolf lol. there were some kids in my class that had full beards in like 8th grade lol.

i had liberal professors who didnt hide it. i also had conservative professors who didnt hide it either. but i can honestly say that however their personal politics leaned, they were fair in letting opposing viewpoints be heard. the one thing they ALL had in common though, was a mentality of "dont just take my word for it" in nearly all my classes. doing research on both sides of an issue and making an informed decision for yourself was paramount and encouraged. i dunno how much i buy the "impressionable minds" part though. i dont think the kind of person who just blindly accepts everything their professor tells them is going to do very well in college.
