Younger minds can soak up so much more knowledge than older minds. We could have most kids through with high school level classes my middle school. But then, who would babysit them for the last 5 years until they turn 18? I wish I could remember 10% of the Math I used to know and go to competitions for. Then again, I'm not sure what in the Hell I would ever use it for now.

Soon, hopefully before kid #3 gets here, I would like to finish at least half of my basement. I'll say that at my first house, with a MUCH smaller basement, I did a few things myself, studs, drywall, lame carpet... I don't want to do this one myself. I'd like to hear first-hand experiences you have had with local companies. Prices (if you don't mind sharing), recommendations, good/bad ideas, what you wish you had done differently. I have about 1900-2000sqft to deal with, but I want to keep the furnace/water heater/sump/water softener area unfinished. My basement is basically a large, long rectangle. Bump. Wife had 2nd thoughts. I am trumping that. Tomorrow would be great because both boys will be away from around 12:00 - 4:00. Literally bought a new bag of food tonight; it is included.

Ha. What a difference some fresh fuel and 12 volts make. Finally bought a new battery this afternoon. Started 200% better (obviously), but it also idled higher and smoother, revved quicker, and ran 150% stronger. Strange what all those electronics do with the right voltage... EDIT - oh, and turn signal fixed as well.

Put my first one together at 15, and is still running. If someone can't assemble a SBC after everything is machined and ready to go, they should hand in their carguy card.

Most bank's IT departments are so locked down and audited, he likely would get his hand slapped for fixing it, even if he had powers.

Can't think of another fun DD for 13k-15k I'd rather have again more than a 6sp GTO.

Passing this along for a co-worker. He is selling whole ghost pepper plants. I bought one today and they (at least this one; I assume all are similar) are about 2 feet tall and already have buds/blossoms. Mine has like 25-30 so far. They're $15 each. Part of the deal worked out while selling the Mean Streak was that I kept all of the factory pieces, other than the seat. I have 2 large boxes of stuff. I don't have an inventory list yet, hopefully tonight. This was a 2002 1500cc. Off the top of my head: mirrors pegs front and back brake res. covers left and right rear fender bracket things exhaust air cleaner grips turn signals, all computer cover lic. plate bracket add more later. If any interest in something, post up and I'll figure out a price. Will do a everything price too.

I say kitten/cat because she is like 10 or 11 months old. We got her a few months ago. Great cat. Stock. No mods. Actually, one mod - she was fixed (per the couple we got her from). She's never had an accident in the house. Lets people hold her. Plays around with our dog like she was one. No fear of our 2 and 4 year old boys. She doesn't shed like most cats.?.? I mean, we find hair once in a while, but extremely rarely.
