  1. Anyone know of any beer or wine "fests" coming up near Columbus? Something like pay $30 and sample a ton of micro-brews? Thanks.
  2. The guys that were building Kenny's El Camino turbo V6 project should have my old 355 laying around. It would be a killer engine for that thing. VERY lopey with good street manners.
  3. Don't know age. They were brand new looking when we bought the van from Liberty Dodge. They could have been 10 year old junkers they had laying around, I don't know.
  4. Don't waste your time with 305 heads. Any nice 300hp sbc would make it fun.
  5. I don't watch it much. I'd guess 17-18. The Hemi drops to 4 cylinders when 8 aren't needed. If you believe the computer, it shows 20-22 instant mpg on the highway. One trip from Pataskala to Zanesville, on 55mph roads, I got 22.something with the wife and both kids in the truck.
  6. 2006 4-door, 4x4, w/ Hemi and 20" wheels, tow pack, Sirius, heated powered foldout mirrors, wood accents, SRT-ish hood, tint, slider, liner, 55k miles. I am asking $17,500. http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/uu8/nurkvinnyz06/SnowSportPlow/DSCN2447MED.jpg http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/uu8/nurkvinnyz06/SnowSportPlow/DSCN2442MED.jpg http://www.nurkvinny.com/images/Vehicles/Trucks/2006_Ram/DSCN2449MED.jpg http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/uu8/nurkvinnyz06/SnowSportPlow/0224001809-1.jpg
  7. Turns out my 15 year reunion was last night. Didn't know it was happening. Oh well, that would have just made me feel even older.
  8. So, did you catch any of the lowlifes that did it?
  9. I should have phrased it differently. "I" don't believe in any random number being the magic number. There's nothing different about a tire's integrity between 2 plugs and 4. A tire that's had 20 1mm punctures is probably better than one that's had a single 8mm puncture. I'd be interested in seeing first-hand links to "3 is the limit" for plugs documentation.
  10. I can and will make this happen.
  11. Clay had his 96(?) on it and went to PA; maybe he can speak up. I know it's plenty long enough. How wide is your Vette? The S10 in my sig goes on with no problems by jacking the front of the trailer up to make the approach angle less. The 8'+ ramps help. EDIT - the tube chassis Vega guy used 2 2x10's to extend the ramp length, but his case was extreme - like 2" off the ground.

  13. I am selling my trailer. The only time I've used it in the past 4 years is when someone else broke down or otherwise wanted to borrow it. I drove to Mansfield and brought this back 4 years ago or so. $1375. Since then, it has been stored INSIDE. Since buying it: - I replaced the floor with treated lumber - 2x10x16's and 2x12x16's. Besides being treated, I also stained them. - Replaced all wiring, including all lights. - Was repainted 4 years ago. - I replaced all hardware holding the deck to the trailer. - It has over-sized 235-75-15 tires with excellent tread on white American Racing wheels. - Has the round wire hook up. - Comes with a 3-ton electric winch mounted to the tongue. Has quick-connect wiring that reaches to the tow vehicle's battery so no 'extra' battery needed. - Comes with 8'2" Aluminum 2-piece ramps. One has a curve to it, but works 100%. - Comes with a winch mount that fits a hitch so you can use winch separate from the trailer. - Has 4 D-rings for easy tie downs. - Manual jack works good and is in good shape. - Safety chains. No brakes. - Comes with 2 pieces of diamond plate pattern steel that can be mounted at rear of trailer for extra support / traction. Overall deck measures 16'2" x 76". List of what I can remember has been towed with it... tube chassis Vega, S10, C4 Vette, C1 Vette, 2nd Gen Camaro, 4th Gen Camaro, 65 Chevelle (damn, some nice cars ). http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=529&pictureid=4392 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=529&pictureid=4400 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=529&pictureid=4393
  14. Obviously. I don't believe there is any magic number for that rule... but yeah, 7 is ridiculous. Will be getting new ones Monday. Just curious if anyone has seen this. I'm sure she didn't run over something 7 times with 1 tire, and miss everything with the other 3. I fixed tires everyday for a decade and never ran across this situation.
  15. Plugged a slow leak last week in the wife's van. Still losing air. Plugged another slow leak today. While checking it with soapy water, I noticed a third, fourth, ... 7 fucking slow leaks. No sign of anything ever being in the tire at the leak locations. Simply looks like the tire decided to open up and leak. Mind you, no dry rotting or any visual holes. Michelin btw.
  16. Maybe some day... when you finally give me a ballpark on my Ram.
  17. Because it's a beautiful day. A day that has a car show... at a titty club... with free food. And I am sitting at home, babysitting, shopping for a 4-door car so I can fit baby seats in the back.
