I have never done a non-drag track day, but now that I have something worthy, I would love to. My Dad actually just got to do the NAPA sponsored day at Mid Ohio this past week and had a blast his first time. I love turning and shifting both up and down.

Shut up bitch. Oh, and I figured out the rear hopping issue. Holding the traction control button for 5 seconds engages "Performance Mode" or something like that. Sorry for bouncing you all over the passenger seat. EDIT - "Competitive Driving Mode".

I is smooooth. He was 5.5 hours away in Bowling Green. We were going to meet in Cinci, ~half way, but instead of spending more time negotiating, I asked him to do the rest of the hauling instead. There is also no way it would go up onto my trailer. He just got laid off from a plant that makes Corvette parts.

Guys, I am asking if there are any negatives to running a deep cycle in a DD. The battery is already in the car. It was in there when I bought the car.

Are there any negatives to having a Deep Cycle Yellow Top in a daily driver? A car I just got has one, and I had always thought Red tops were the choice for DD's. Car starts awesome, no electrical issues, and gauge reads ~13.5-14 volts while cruising at 75mph. Just curious what the advantage of a deep cycle is on a stock vehicle.

Yep, read about that as well. The sticking was quite a surprise the first time through the gears. I loved my GTO. A lot. This is a whole different league.
