Hello, purple V6 Firebird boy.

It had an elaborate water feature with sump pump, 4-level water fall, fake water pump, yadda yadda. What are "flaggers" in this case?

Couple of these in my extended family now. Nothing but positives when I've asked about them. In fact, a lot of REALLY positive comments.

The pond developed a couple tears in the liner years ago, but retained about 10" of water that was being used for frog orgies and bug egg-laying. I am keeping the rocks; there are a lot of good, usable stones to use in the project (more than the pic makes it seem).

We have a medium sized pond that we're trying to figure out what to do with now. I stabbed the bottom of the liner a couple weeks back (with 38 and 45 cal. holes ) to get it completely drained. I am looking for ideas and estimates to make this eyesore go away. Filled in with a patio would be an idea, but I'd be worried about the amount of settling that would occur. Filled in and a simple mulch bed or garden are possibilities. I'd just like some CR folks/companies that do this stuff for a living to give me some ideas and $$$. I've only personally had 2 friends that owned one. At the end, both hated them and promised to never own another one. I like their looks.

My comment was I would not and others might. "Others" obviously means other people besides me. I am extremely familiar with the area you describe, and have a hard time believing that every single person that passed you called the law. When I am in that area on weekends, I hear numerous people shooting all around.

Educate yourself about "assault rifles" and firearms in general. What, in that story makes you think he was making a point? Have you considered he was carrying a legal gun that happens to be about the best possible tool for anything he may encounter that day? Let's say he wanted to prove a point; I'd say he won (or will). Lots of people are suspicious without breaking any laws. It's one of the cop's jobs to investigate - without violating your rights.

I would call 911 and report you as suspicious. If you were walking along a country road with a kid, I would not call. Others might, no problem.

This is not his problem. Would you also freak out if there were evil shotguns in gun racks in public view in trucks? This is still a common sight in the majority of the country. Or if you were standing beside me with an 18 round handgun with 2 spare 17 round mags on my hip? That adds up to way more rounds than that scary "assault machine gun evil military" rifle carried in the video.
