Completely agree. Can't stand the place. Hoggy's was meh, but I went there once a month or so. I bet there were no more than 5 people in there during the lunch hour for the past 3 or 4 months. Not a surprise they locked up.

This cost me a friend a few years ago. The shop did NUMEROUS favors for a guy, then we finally needed some electrical work done. We assumed it would be free like the work we did for him... $250 for < an hour. His excuse was union-something-something-union. Fuck that.

Yep. To friends and family, I am the "computer guy" and "car guy". I don't hear from people for years, then all of a sudden their PC needs repaired or they need an opinion on a car purchase for their daughter/wife/hooker.

My back garage is 30x40, more barn than garage, open rafters, and a medium-sized torpedo heater is a waste unless you have it aimed at you. If I get back into any projects that require I spend a lot of time out there in < 30 degrees, I am going to get a large propane unit and a large tank like mentioned above. Less stinky too.
