    Sorry I missed that the first time you asked. Its not "flat" it has a little gloss to it. Would probably take a few bed kits to do a whole car in. It would be neat though. It doesnt really scratch that easily. It pretty durable stuff. But just like anything applied to a car if you hit it hard enough you will damage it. It can be touched up pretty easily.
