  1. So the dash pad is still good? No cracks? (It makes me happy knowing you didnt cut it up) Yes those are not original tails. They should look like this...(except these are tinted) http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u298/pimpjettay2k/Camaro%20Engine%20Build/IMG_9538.jpg OK.
  2. They have changed the law. Because 2 years ago I had all the paper work for my camaro ready to go to get the tags. It used to be 20 years. And there are 2 types of plates. Historical and Model Year. Historical License Plates General Information: To qualify, motor vehicles must be at least 25 years old. They are solely collector's items and are used for participation in club activities, exhibitions, tours, parades, etc. They are NOT for general transportation. Registrant Eligibility: These plates may be issued to any Ohio motorist. The vehicle must be 25 years of age or older. It is a collector's vehicle used in participation in club activities, exhibitions, tours, parades, but NOT for general transportation. Title Requirements: Ohio Certificate of Title issued in individual's name, either singly or jointly, or the name is the same name on the lease agreement. Vehicle Information: These plates may be issued to any vehicle. Type of Plates: Stock, reserved, or personalized plates inscribed with the words Historical Vehicle Ohio (personalized plates may now contain up to seven characters). Model Year Plates are also permitted. Issuance Information: Applicant must complete BMV Form 4806 (affidavit). Cost: There is a one-time fee for historical plates. The fee is determined by ORC 4503.181. FEES HISTORICAL PLATES NEW RENEWAL License Tax Fee: $10.00 $0.00 New Plate Charge $2.00 $0.00 Deputy Fee $2.75 $0.00 Plate Reflectorization Fee $0.25 per plate $0.00 County Sticker(s) $0.00 $0.00 Postage current rate current rate Here is the scoop on historical model year plates: Historical Model Year License Plates General Information: Purpose is to allow owners of historical vehicles to use Ohio plates for the same year as their vehicle was manufactured. (For More Information). Registrant Eligibility: These plates may be issued to any Ohio motorist. Title Requirements: Ohio Certificate of Title issued in individual's name, either singly or jointly, or the name is the same name on the lease agreement. Vehicle Information: These plates may be used on any vehicle. Type of Plates: Registrant provides his/her own plates which must be servicable and legible and issued by Ohio and inscribed with the same year when the vehicle was manufactured. Issuance Information: Applicant must complete BMV Form 4806 (Affidavit For Registration) and Model Year Adffidavit BMV Form and submit a copy of the model year plate(s). Cost: There is an additional fee of $3.54. The fee is determined by ORC 4503.181. FEES MODEL YEAR PLATES NEW RENEWAL Transfer Fee: $1.00 $0.00 Deputy Fee $2.75 $0.00 Postage current rate current rate The interesting thing about model year plates is that you only have to run a rear plate. One other thing to remember is how the state looks at what is considered "general transportation". If you use your historically registered car for transportation to work, school, shopping hauling lumber home(trucks) or anything that isn't pleasure or club, show, cruise related you are in violation. An evening cruise just to enjoy the car is ok too.
  3. MMM, Hard Top. Dont cry yet. Its only been a day. And the pictures help with determination. Do you have the dash pad for the car? What happened to the original tail lights? What is the zip tie behind the front cover?
  4. When the columns are stripped I just swap parts instead of changing the whole column. The last one I did needed a clock spring wiring harness. 1100 my cost from the dealer, for 6 wires that are 2 feet long and some pigtails. F that. 50 bucks and 25 mins done deal.
  5. Oh yeah, its bad ass with black and white. I use Kodak Pro Endura Paper.
  6. I have seen mud inside wheels before. It happens so fast when it hits, the tire mantains pressure.
  7. It seems all my special tools are for the VW's I work on. Clay used my set when he did the transmission in the Passat.
  8. At least you got it back. You can change your sig now. Columns are 50 bucks for those jeeps. I just did one, 2 months ago.

  12. Amys cousin and her husband both graduated with RN degrees [4yr bachelors] and found jobs within the last year with sign on bonuses. It depends on what you actually want to do once you get the degree. They both took 'starter' jobs and then he got a job in critical care with heart surgery patients and shes still looking to get into Ob. It can definitely be done, besides you'll be in school awhile. Another of Amys friends took a job nursing in California for the summer [she went to COTC in Newark] and she loved it so much she stayed. Definitely a lot of opportunities.

  15. Suggestions Everyone that have offered this to you, ask them how their going to light the guitars. I hope they aren't just going to take a picture. Most importantly, need some seamless paper that is lit to 255. I would also print them on Metallic paper. 24x36 should be a minimum print size.
