Doug was partially correct, I have an 02 FZ1. I have noticed that my fizzy seems to perform BETTER than most of the other super standards, and the purchase cost/maintinance costs are lower as well. You dont buy a bike for the numbers, as they are all about the same. You basically buy a bike based on how well it will meet your REAL WORLD riding habits, how comfortable it is to you, and looks. For me the FZ1 fot my bill the best, and I have not looked back since. It is hard to justify a payment in this shitty weather though

Headed home from work wednesday night. Spotted: Infinity G35 sedan, not sure if its the AWD version or not, but nice none the less. Silver in color, with silver base level (maybe, didnt get a good look) wheels. I couldnt tell if it had the brembos or not, but it was a manual. I was in my mustang. The infinity driver passes me on 270 and exits at morse with me. I was in the right hand left turn lane and he was in the left hand left turn lane. My lane leaves the light faster, but soon after the infinity pulls up to me. It was apparent that the fellow wanted to race, erratic acceleration next to another car and then slowing back down until next to it again....yeah I figured that part out. Traffic was heavy and I am currently on 215/45/17 SNOW TIRES!!! so I wasnt too keen on racing at that point in time. We get to the next intersection and some words are exchanged. Apparently, we are meeting at a gas station nearby tomorrow for a game of GT3. I havent ever played against a G35, so I dont really know what to expect. My car runs 14.50s or there abouts....so I dont know what to expect. Anyone out there with some stats on those cars?

When I was in Texas for the TX2K4 Supra meet, there were numerous 88mm turbos there. Those wheels are 88mm across, not a T88. For reference, those turbos are larger than a basketball! That FD is pretty sweet...too bad there is no area under that torque curve smile.gif

point being, turbo FBs are AMAZING cars! I wouldl ove to have one some day

I am glad to know that he was caught. Still cannot bring a friend back though. Its a shame, as I just read that aparently, he was giving them a ride somewhere to get gas and thats when they shot him. I just hope that whatever justice is instore for these men gets served. If they are not citizens, and we deport them, I am sure they wil be back. At least he didnt have too much freedom after doing this.

why cant you people get over the fact that OSU lost to a better, more rounded and better directed team? I am an OSU fan to some extent, but I never questioned that Wisconson is a better team. My girlfriend is a HUGE Buckeye fan, and is related to Steve Bellisari, and I tell her the same thing.

I am sure some of you have heard about the Deputy in Marion county who was murdered this morning. I just learned that he was someone whom I knew. I have know him for a while, used to bowl with him and went on a few ride alongs as well. He was a super nice guy, and leaves behind a wife and 2 very young children. I hope that they find the last person involved in this. Apparently, he was shot in the head and his cruiser was pushed into a ditch. All because he was trying to help someone out. I cant believe people these days. One of the suspects has a warrent out for his arrest, and I am sure that if he indeed was involved, that this was one of the reasons prompting the shooting. Sometimes, an Eye for an Eye just doesnt seem like its enough.

VTEC is a device used to help get what power can be derived from the little 1600cc engine while meeting emission regulations as possible. Its all factory engineering stuff. You should look into it.
