Newport is really cool. The aquarium is nice and takes an hour or two to walk thru, longer with a child. If you go to Newport go to Hafbrauhaus. Fucking. Mind blowing. My fave restaurant evar.

It does everything I need. Surfs the web (better than my iPhone), plays videos (MP4), supports video chat via Skype, and has a pretty decent selection of apps. With the amount of TouchPads sold this weekend I'd look for developer support to drastically increase. The screen is nice (if slightly low res for reading) the hardware is fairly zippy, and I'm really digging WebOS. I do hate the glossy black fingerprint magnet on the back tho. Wal*mart now has them listed at $99/$150 in their stores. Although they're most likely sold out. Mine are spoken for tho. 1 for me, 1 for the girl, and 1 each for upcoming family birthdays.

I picked up 2 32gb touchpads at Wal*Mart early Sat morning for full price. Had them price adjusted today to $150. The customer service agent's jaw dropped when she saw the price difference. Also picked up 2 16gb touchpads at H.H. Gregg today for use as b-day gifts. I just got lucky there. They're still out there. I know H.H. Gregg stores will be getting sporadic shipments for the next week. Also rumor is HP will have additional stock Monday. WebOS 3.0 is awesome.
