  1. It's a great system rusty... some people get a little butt hurt. But they'll live.. in the end safe and fun are the top reasons we do it.. and you can have fun without it being safe.. so good on mid ohio.. I was talking the brian about this the other week

  3. sexy panther is only brought out on special occations, other than that the daily choice for track days is Bear glove... its a strong yet inviting scent!
  4. Mike you'll do fine on just about any bike. Novice classes are structured Inna way that helps riders of all abilities and bike classes can do just fine starting. I've had dudes and ladies on 250s and concourse 14s in the same group.. Your wrist dictates your actions.. and generally as long as your being smart you shouldn't wreck your first day. Feel free to PM me if ya wanna talk more.. or moreover your with CODE now post on the fb forum and we can go in depth easier
  5. Ahh now I get it.. no sir.. my vest says rabbit.. and I only coach for STT

  7. sooo much smack!!! is it time to go fast yet... i wanna see if i'll highside my ass to the moon on the new bike haha!
  8. Drove without a front for 10 years.. from my 96 grand am turbo with body kit, a gsx, rx8 and onto my trucks. Was never once pulled over for a plate. bought a house in Minerva park. Was pulled over first day for no plate in my truck. Was told if I didn't plate it he would impound it. Never received a written warning so Ignored it. 1 week later same cop pulls me over tickets me 120ish and issues a fixit ticket. Said I warned you next time I'm I'm pounding it.. so I plated it.
  9. Correct, I think they seem to be handling it pretty well. Recalled all bikes, new models can be purchased but you cannot take delivery until the recall is performed. They ate not hiding issues that we can see so far. Or have they denied any warranty claims that I'm aware of. Yamaha will be just fine
  10. Correct we have 3.. checking savings and a growth account.. but both of us have access to all 3 at any given time
  11. Wife and I make similar money.. but 1 account.. we both double check eachother work on the bills.. lots of auto pays.. what's hers is mine and so on.. any big decisions we talk about and go from there.. sometimes I get.my way some times she doesn't get hers.. Xmas and bday are paid for by cc. Though we generally set a limit...
  12. i qualify with the duc... but i dont know if i wanna get my butt literally handed to me by the likes of Matt Carr and Tom May, that being said meh... i think i'll stick to coaching this year... more days.. same money.. woo
  13. Mid o is in mid transition with the bike school as it is... I think most orgs wanna go the way motoamerica is keeping club racing similar so the jump to higher platforms is fairly unilateral
  14. Wera isn't running there I heard that from my understanding it's just vintage weekend for motorcycles
  15. Coach with sportbike track time accounts for 27ish days, control rider with indy ducati is 7 more.. then whatever I can squeeze in.. I'd like a for more but time and money are always tight... I kinda gave up on racing as it was just to expensive for the amount of time riding and effort needed.. I may run vintage this year though on the big bad duc. We'll see though.. last year I did 30 days
  16. I have about 35 days on the schedule for sure attending possible to add 5 to 10 more depending on work and sliding a mid ohio day in here and there. My year is starting at jennings early March then balls cold grattan in April and off we go

  19. fine bike... you may notice some porkiness tossing it through the turns.. but coming from an FJR you should be fine, they make good fairly linear power, obviously more towards the top end but they have surprisingly decent grunt in the midrange. I cant remember the details but there was something that had to be done to "disable" the HESD but an aftermarket Ohlins unit would be way better than the HESD ever dreamed, assuming it is adjustable. the 2006-2007 had rectifier issues, most replaced with Ricks units and never an issue after. suspension was the weak link... generally no adjustability and kinda spongey even with correct springs but that's been rectified it seems on that bike.... other than that they are a solid bike... buddy coached with one at mid o for years... I rode one for 2 summers
