its just rubber if it did get into it. and it would be very hard to get in there with the tight fit of the splines. no worries, plus my car drives just fine what do i care haha.

i would go with a silverado. i've owned 3 of them and my dad has a avalanche (almost the same frame other than the 4 link rear) and we have never had any problems. things to look out for on both trucks, front suspension parts. the silverado check the brake lines on the frame right about where the driver door meets the front fender. they like to rust out and leak brake fluid.

also i have seen a "person" "Donk out" there 80's regal by wedging a 2x4 between the spring coils.

we used to have a superball machine in the shop just for that reason.
